Course Curriculum Overview :

As Nehu is very famous and the first university in the north east region it has very good background and alumni . The sports area can be improved and we should get more engagement with other universities so that we improve our communication skills and learn skills from each other

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 22000 per year

Placement Experience :

The campus of the university is overall average. We get packages around 10 LPA but mostly students opt for heigher studies as only 10 -20 percent of students successfully get placed My plans are for masters in technology after the degree . I have appeared for gate and qualified ans i would like to sit for councilling if i get in any good nit or iit

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fee including all will be 22000 and the fee of hostel is 4200 and 2300 permonth for the mess The nsp scholarship works and many more The fee is same for all . Nsp scholarship such as post matric , umbrella, pragati and many more works here

Campus Life :

The overall experience was good as it is very active in the field of sports arts culture music dance and many . The university is surrounded by greens and hills so it has a very positive atmosphere for students to focus on academics as well as many other. It is close to the main cuty shillong so the transportation is also easy

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are not so good but we can mark it as average. In a single room 3 people are placed and we celebrate various facilities like diwali , holi , per Christmas and many . The food in the hostels are not so good hut average the menu are repeated for most of time , the cleanliness is good and the time deadline is 8 pm

Hostel Fee : INR 2147483647 per year

Admission :

I applied to many other colleges such as sikkim Manipal , VIT, CIT etc NEHU had better opportunities and it was better among all those since it had good alumini and teachers . Clubs such as elctrophoenix ,codemate snd chyper are active clubs which works on alumini meet , coding events, and many other activities to enhance the students

Faculty :

Facilities in some departments are less but classes are regular . We have 2 midterms and one end semester exams also the quiz and assignments are considered for the internals . Profsoor LJS , pankaj Sarkar, Asif Ahmed for ECE department are my favourites

I got a low rank in jee mains,and I decided to come in nehu ,Exams are good Teachers are good ????. Difficulty is not so much ,College is good and teachers teches well ,the frequency and timing of exams are not very difficult

Remarks:

The college is located in main city place in Shillong Meghalaya. The college has decent infrastructure with good facility and machines. But has less no. Of faculties with not so good faculties in some subjects. Overall a great college better then any local college with proper opportunities.

Nice college

Remarks:

No permanent campus and no ground for playing for students also all the events will be conducted by the college even though in a small manner sometimes there will be very late reply when we send any message to academics

My college experience

Remarks:

The campus being temporary at present, is in a much happier place surrounded by all kinds of restaurants, food corners, necessary shops, good hospitals, banks etc. The negative may be the lack of space in most classrooms, however that turns good as the faculties focus better on each & *** CGPA turns out better***

College Review

Remarks:

Overall it is okay. But since there is no permanent campus, it is very hard for us to reach College on time everyday. We have to get up early in the morning to wait for the bus and all. Also, tehre is a limited resources. Our library is too small and labs are also not sufficient.

Remarks:

There are various clubs such as Coding Club,Robotics Club,Literary Club,Photography Clubetc. The worst thing about this college is it has been functioning from temporary campus.The opportunities and facilities are limited for the students because of this. Students have to face hardships staying in hostels aways from college.
