Remarks :
The college is good not the best, not the worst. It's an average college where the student can enjoy all the activities whether it is a study or other programs.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The exam structure is based on semester wise system.There are 6 semester in UG. In one year we have to give 2 semester and many small internals which help us to improve our knowledge on the subject.Also we are given to write notes on different topics on our own which allow us to read several books and other projects to complete the task. All these improve our knowledge as well as our working capability.
Placement Experience :
The placement is fair as it's an art college. We get opportunities to take part in internships but depends upon us how we approach them. College helps us to get some other activities certificate which can help us to get a good job.
College Events :
The events celebrated are, firstly we put a fresher's party in the department and then a college fresher's party. Then we have our College and University elections which are grand. Then we have many other competitors in and outside the college. We have cultural fest, college fest, and departmental fest. We also have sports competitions too.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee for my courses is 9000. It's like the same for other courses too. But some technical courses vary as it requires the use of computers and chemical. For example, the course fee for CS is approx 50000. Also, we have 500 as an examination fee which is given before the exams during submitting the forms.
Fees and Financial Aid :
No, I haven't opted for any scholarship or other loans. The fee of the colleges under DU is very minimal which can be paid on our own.
Campus Life :
The campus is not too big but enough for us. We have a canteen and playground and also a lawn to relax. There is approx 60:40 ratios of male to female. The activities are conducted on a regular basis and on a good level. We have debate competition, elocution, poetry competition, many speakers are invited to. Sports play an important role in our College. We have approx all sports in our College.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, the seniors and alumni are very helpful as they stand for us in all times. Even outside the college, they help us.
Admission :
Previously I was a science stream student till class 12th. But I chose arts for my further education as I am a UPSC aspirant. I decided to take admission in Delhi University as it is one of the best universities in India. I filled up the form and came to Delhi when the first cut off was released. I found my cut off matching in many colleges in first cut off but decided to wait for some more better colleges. So in the second cut off, I got marks required to get admission in RLA. And I took admission in this college. And loved this college in first sight.
Faculty :
The faculties are good and cooperative. They help all the student whether they are weak or strong in studies. They help us to guide and try to bring the best in us. Most of the professors are highly educated and they try to give us their knowledge in a very well manner. Also, there are highly experienced teachers who guide us all the way.
