Course Curriculum Overview :

It is one of the best engineering colleges in Kerala. It is nirf ranked 51 overall India. This University provides many courses from undergraduate to post graduate courses.The syllabus hold a very good standard in their respective branch.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 32140 per year

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fee structure for btech in Cusat ,soe is divided into 3 categories based on the cat ranklist.The fees for each category as follows: 1. State Merit - Rs 32140 2. All India Merit - Rs 55880 3. SC/ST/OEC - Rs 1500.

Campus Life :

Vipanchika The School of Engineering at CUSAT organizes this annual college fest that features fine arts, socio-cultural and literary events, workshops, exhibitions, and informal events. Innpasco The Department of Computer Applications at CUSAT organizes this annual national-level technical fest. It includes technical events like coding gauntlets, web designing, and hardware assembly, as well as cultural events like dance competitions and photography contests. There various other clubs like : Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESAC): A registered association that works to promote the welfare of mechanical engineering students. Its objectives include developing students' physical, social, intellectual, mental, and spiritual well-being. Association of Computer Engineering Students (ACES): An association that organizes programs such as seminars, webinars, alumni meets, online projects, and placement training. Civil Engineering Students' Association (CESA): A student chapter at the SOE. Indian Green Building Council Student Chapter (IGBC): A student chapter at the SOE.

Admission :

The overall campus atmosphere was very good. The placement in this college was good. The admission procedure are as per the cat ranklist. Based on the ranklist each category will be provided a cutoff rank for each branch .All the relevant information related to admission process will be provided in the college website . Check the website regular for any updates in the admission process. You will have submit certain certificates like migration certificate, transfer certificate, caste certificate etc during admission process .

Faculty :

The faculty teaching here are very well versed in academics and research areas. Most of them have their PhD degrees and several research papers and publications. The exams are conducted by the university in appropriate manner during each semester.If you studying your day to day portions it is easy to clear your university exams.

CUSAT Cochin campus- best college life you can get in kerala

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

My College Life at FISAT

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.
