The best university in NCR

Remarks :

Fee structure needs to be improved and there is a requirement for better hostels and rules. Evaluation and behavior of faculty have to be impartial towards North Indians and Localities. Curriculum needs to be updated.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum and syllabus for B.Tech programs (2019) conform to outcome based teaching learning process. In general, ELEVEN STUDENT OUTCOMES (a-k) have been identified and the curriculum and syllabus have been structured in such a way that each of the courses meets one or more of these outcomes. Student outcomes describe what students are expected to know and be able to do by the time of graduation. These relate to the skills, knowledge, and behaviors that students acquire as they progress through the program. Further each course in the program spells out clear instructional objectives which are mapped to the student outcomes. The student outcom

Placement Experience :

The highest package offered for CSE students is 9 LPA this year. It feels like it would be a mistake if I join any other college as the overall highest package offered in our college is 25 LPA. Seniors seem to be struggling a lot to get placed in a company for a package of 3 LPA. Placements for petroleum students are quite good this year.

College Events :

Prisma’18, a cultural fest which was organized by our students at SRM University (Delhi-NCR, Sonepat), rocked the crowd with an amazing performance by the DJ Kunaal & the talented Punjabi singer Akhil.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is expensive. But it is worth itFee Structure is a bit expensive as it is a private college. The tuition fee is charged according to your rank in the entrance exam and branch. There is additional fees for transport and career development.

Fees and Financial Aid :

As per provisions of the Haryana Private Universities Act 2006, clause 35 & 36, SRM University Haryana has implemented the provision of Scholarships for Haryana Domicile Candidates (25% of total seats). The Criteria for availing the scholarship are: Based on the Rank/Performance in the National Level Entrance Examination i.e SRMHCAT-2019 only. The student must fulfill the Minimum Eligibility Criteria. Continuation of the scholarship in the subsequent Years will be on the basis of minimal academic performance. It is mandatory for candidates applying under the category of Haryana Domicile to submit Domicile certificate at the time of counselling/admission.

Campus Life :

Each Classroom is equipped with audio-visual communication aid namely: Effective Interactive Board Electronic Podium Projector To facilitate the best output of excellent teaching facility and to facilitate delightful academic visual interaction to our students. A Rare Learning Experience !

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, seniors of our college are very helpful academically or in other events. Ragging and bullying are strictly prohibited in college. Alumni network provides an approach to various companies to get in touch, learn and gain experience in various departments.

Faculty :

The faculty are as good as any other colleges in the state. The course curriculum is specially designed for the better understanding of the student. The curriculum, in fact, plays an important role in the overall development of students. The faculty are very helpful and also always give extra time to each and every student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I knew a few people in the same course and they liked it and it aligned with my future plans as well. The course curriculum is shifting more towards placement oriented study and focusing more on increasing the placement statistics of the college. The area for improvement is focusing more on problem solving than cramming the theory to get good grades. There are exams every 2 months and the end semester exams are quite hard to crack if not prepared well and they cover up 35% of the total weightage.

"I would rate the course curriculum as 4 out of 5. It is well-structured and covers most core and emerging topics in the field, but it could include more hands-on projects or exposure to industry practices to enhance practical application.
