College flop

Dislikes

  • Have strict dress code for girls. Can’t wear sleeveless and dresses above your ankles
  • You gotta walk a lot in the campus from hostel to other buildings

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum is pretty good . You get to learn almost everything you need for your degree. You can also choose foreign languages. You'll be pretty much packed with exams and other projects. Basically it's like school but with less enjoyment. As for teaching methods , they don't teach to begin with so can't say anything about that.

Placement Experience :

From 7th sem you are eligible for the placements. Highest package was around 1C and average would be 50000 k . You need to have 9 CGPA to be eligible for the super companies offers . You CGPA is really important

Fees and Financial Aid :

It's an intergrated course for 5 years.Your category is based on 12th marks . 1st category is 1 lakh. 2nd category is around 1.5lakh and so there are till 3rd category. Caution deposit was around 15 thousand. There aren't any scholarships available for this course. And there aren't any fee paid during the course other than the one mentioned before

Campus Life :

Social interaction is quite low here. All you do is go to class come back eat and study. You won't have time for the other stuff. Hostelers are not allowed out much to none. Sports in quite average here. There are lot of clubs here. Try joining a lot of them in the beginning even if don't know much about it . The more interviews you give for clubs the better.

Admission :

I choose this college because I had no other choice this was the only college I got into. I didn't make it to jee nor neet . Only my boards results were good . So this was the only course I could choose. The admission process was quite easy . Based on your percentage in the main subjects you can choose the course and fee

Faculty :

The faculty student relationship depends on who the faculty is . Some are good some are not. Expecting them to teach well is foolish. Here they don't teach .they just read their ppts and go . Once you get in the college try talking to the seniors and try to get the faculty review by students PDF. There you can choose the best ones. There are 2 CATs( out of 50 ) exams whose 15% is taken and 3 DAs( 10 Marks each) whose 30% are taken and FAT exam (100 marks) whose 40% is taken. Exams quite difficult but if you study you can get 9 CGPA

this is where they lie the most , they claim to have placement records of 97% but in reality its just 10%. because of huge student crowd , placing everyone is one big task. the company that comes here for hiring are mostly startups and some lesser known company . branches like mechanical and EEE have it even more difficult time to get placement.the highest package of over college is of 16 lakhs .
