Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is so well and the frequency of exams are also good nearly once in a two months Even the professors use the latest technology for teaching Very own and bugless softwares are used and all are well enough

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 198000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are many companies for internship like gsoc and all as i was not a third year student i didnt know much about it but seniors say that it was so well and no need to bother about it if yoh are a good student

Placement Experience :

After 3rd year 2nd semester students are allowed to sit for the placements The famous company like capgemini,tcs,cognizant,Microsoft, infosys and aws etc. The highest package for this year was 80lpa and the average package was 9 lpa Nearly 90 percent students will get placed as per college administration

Fees and Financial Aid :

The year wise fee for me who got category 1 is 1,98,000/- Depending upon the rank that one secured in VITEEE exam fee varies as Category 1 1,98,000 Category 2 3,07,000 Category 3 4,00,000 Category 4 4,50,000 Category 5 5,00,000 ^There are no specific scholarship but the people who secure 1 to 50 ranks in VITEEE Exams gets 100% fee wavier ^51 to100 gets 75% wavier ^101 to 200 gets 50% wavier 201 to 300 gets 25% wavier

Campus Life :

Campus and all are good Libarary is vast as it was of 3 floors They are using upto date technology for that There will be the sports room for sports facility where we can grab sports equipment for playing

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel was ok ok coz of huge crowd but food is nice actually Histel and for mess it is somewhat expensive as 6 bedded is aroud 1.2lac and 4 bedded is 1.5l And 3 bedded is 1.8l But pgs are so affordable but food will be not good

Hostel Fee : INR 202000 per year

Admission :

First things first is mainly nirf ranking which makes a huge difference between us and other colleges and even the average placement is also good than other colleges which is nearly 9 lpa.for admission one should definitely attempt the viteee entrance exam Ive applied for kl university, iiit hyderabad, lpu,parul and comedk Except iiit hyderabad was selected for all other and even i got 7k rank in comedk The iiit hyderabad exam was tougher that the actual jee advanced thats why ive got rejected sadly

Faculty :

Overall the campus strength is nearly 22000 and faculty is 550 Faculties are very supportive and clear doubts as well Mostly all faculty teaches good but some are not i don't want to reveal their names as it was not fair There will be two mid exams and one final lab and semester exams thats it and 80 percent people pass the exam and it will be moderate difficult

this is where they lie the most , they claim to have placement records of 97% but in reality its just 10%. because of huge student crowd , placing everyone is one big task. the company that comes here for hiring are mostly startups and some lesser known company . branches like mechanical and EEE have it even more difficult time to get placement.the highest package of over college is of 16 lakhs .

Placement Experience:

At VIT Chennai, students become eligible for campus placements starting from their 6th semester, with placement training beginning in the 5th semester. Top companies or recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, PayPal, Bosch, Accenture, and Intel, among others. In 2023, over 900 companies participated across VIT campuses, making more than 12,000 offers. The highest package offered was ?1.02 crore per annum by a global recruiter, while the average package for core placements ranged between ?6-7 LPA, with Super Dream offers exceeding ?25 LPA and Dream offers ranging from ?10-15 LPA. Around 90% of eligible students get placed, with profiles offered in software development, consulting, analytics, and core engineering. After completing the degree, students often pursue roles in top companies, higher studies, or entrepreneurial ventures.
