INTRO TO A COLLEGE

Dislikes

  • Most of the senior faculties don't even know some basic mannerisms that has to be expressed while you meet a human being.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course by my own decision because I wanted to study something differently. This course is very scopeful & an enjoyable course if u love it.But be aware of choosing colleges. The teaching methods in our college is by presentation method.Exam timing for department papers -2.30-3.hrs & for internal papers-1.30-2.hrs is provided.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are provided within the campus because our college isa medical college with hospital facility in it But the number of patients in the hospital is very less compared to others. During internship time 6 months within the campus & next 6 months outpostings are announced

Fees and Financial Aid :

Bsc.Ot & At Is a three years course,in which each year has two semesters. In our college there are two shifts(Morning shift 9am-1pm & Afternoon shift 1.30 pm-5.30pm.For forenoon session INR:90,000 is charged for each semester & for afternoon session INR:45,000 is charged for each semester .So the overall annual fees structure for Forenoon session is INR:1,80,000 & for afternoon session is INR:90,000. During any interdepartmental programs & competitions INR:100-500 is charged for each student's.

Campus Life :

Pongal function alone is the only function held in our college. There are preferable range of books in library.Sports & sports day are conducted but spectators are not allowed .There is noo curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities :

Each room should be shared by 3 members. Each member has seperate cupboards, each chair & a table. Each room has an attached bathroom within it. Meal quality is not too bad but health issues are very common .

Admission :

My fate is the reason to choose this college. For admission process you can approach the university they will guide you even for college hostel admissions. No eligibility exams are required only good marks(above55%) In 12th standard (biology, physics & chemistry) is required.

Faculty :

The interaction between students & faculties is very good @ initial years then so on department based faculties are scheduled, some of them are not even ready to clarify students doubts. When we ask a doubt they just randomly say"When you come tomorrow refer & come ok..".The exam fees alters as per semesters & number of subjects, but approximately ranges from INR: 2000-6000.

Interview Experience :

Yeah sometimes often they conduct entrances based on your previous graduate .Often it's very easy and non risky.Just read thoroughly all the topics of your previous graduate.Rathrt than this some general knowledge based on your course

We interact with the people often as we work in hospitals for almost 5 hours a day . It makes us easier for practical exams. We will be having practical exam every year in the hospital . Training in the hospital is very useful as we will have to work after completion of our course.

Admission:

The application process is easy. The application form can be downloaded from internet and submitted online. The entrance exam requires preparation and can't be qualified by all. The education qualification is similar as required in medical field, +2 or equivalent qualification with science subjects Physics, Chemistry, Botany nd Zoology.

Placement Experience:

The job opportunities are good as the Apollo group of Hospitals directly offers job placement to the qualified students from their own college. If you are willing to take up any other platform to work, you can still go for internships at their hospitals for a great experience and some stipend as well.
