Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is diverse and focuses on skills required for industry.In first year, you will have python and Java as coding languages.Vit allows you to choose electives as per your field of interest.
Internships Opportunities :
Many companies which includes Google, Microsoft,Apple,TCS, Cognizant and many core companies offer internship opportunities from the third year or end of sixth semester.The stipends are quite lucrative
Placement Experience :
The placements offered in Vellore institute of technology is good compared to other tier 2 engineering universities.In our department,The average package is 10 lakhs per annum.The highest package is 1 crore per annum
Fees and Financial Aid :
Vellore institute of technology has five categories of fee structure ranging from 176000 per year to 500000 per year depending on the rank secured by them in vit entrance exam which is conducted every year
Campus Life :
Actually there are over 159 clubs in Vellore institute of technology, Chennai and one student can join in maximum of six clubs.Vit has plethora of events including hackathons and various value added courses.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility of Vellore institute of technology, Chennai campus is good.Tasty food is provided which includes both north indian and south indian cuisine.Hostel counselling will happen after seat allotment
Admission :
I wrote both viteee and srmjeee exam.I chose vit Chennai over srm main campus because of great curriculum, placement opportunities and infrastructure of Vellore institute of technology which is in the level of national colleges
Faculty :
The faculty members are graduates from IIT's and NIT's and every faculty has completed PhD in their subjects.Vit has relative grading system so your marks are based on class average.If you are above class average then you will get A grade
