Course Curriculum Overview :

During the time of post-graduation, each semester divided into 2 trimesters and each trimester contains at least 6 to 7 subjects. The first year of post-graduation is very tough because of so many subjects and presentations. But I improve my time management skill than from 2nd year after corporate internship one must select in which area you must follow such as marketing, operations, finance, hr, international business. You can also take a minor stream where you can take 3 subjects of your own choices. Some subjects are common to everyone. Every trimester you have to give exams and then CGPA decides your ranking. During this 2 year of the journey, I learn few skills such as communication and presentation skills, interpersonal skills, teamwork, negotiation skills, work under pressure.

Placement Experience :

I did a corporate internship with ICICI securities where my work is on marketing basically, I spread awareness about the mutual funds among the existing customer of ICICI. I also completed my social internship with a dream girl foundation where I teach slum children, organize fund camps, etc. To be very honest internships in our college is far better than the placements. At the end of the course most of the student land up in getting marketing and sales job irrespective of their courses.

College Events :

There are several events in our colleges such as: Mentor-mentee event - this is the first interaction with our mentors where we have funs and play games, In the end, we get involvement scores allocated individually where we awarded on every trimester. Sankalp- this event empowers the student to enhance their aptitude, presentation, interview, group discussion. Miraki - this event empowers the entrepreneurial mindset of every student. If the student has a creative idea they represent their idea on Miraki podium and if it got selected they are getting one crore to start their business. Samavesh - this is a cultural activity program held on every year where different schools and colleges participate and showcase their talents. Ted x - this basically a big platform one who wanted to enhance their skill set and talk to the audience.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The total fee structure of my college os 695000 which includes examination fees, computer lab charges, library charges, study abroad trips, etc. At the time of registration, they take 15000 which is refundable and then 85000 on every trimester before the exam. But currently, the fee structure increased to 765000.

Fees and Financial Aid :

No, I didn't avail of any scholarship but my friend did take scholarship they have to score in each trimester at least 7 CGPA.

Campus Life :

As per the gender life ratio, I would say that out of a total of 180 students in (2017 -19). 100 boys and 80 girls. From day one our college organizes B-INVOLVEMENT SCORE were on each participant on every event that student gets b - involvement scores. sports activity is not frequently happening in our college because we don't have enough space for outdoor games. Debates our college follows TED X which empowers the student to speak among different high-level corporate individuals at the same time.

Alumni/Alumna :

To answer this question I would like to say that LinkedIn is the best platform where you can connect with your seniors. At the time of joining, I have zero networking and currently, I have 466 networks.

Admission :

First, I appeared for MAT exam in September 2018 then after I got a call from FIIB( fortune institute of international business). I paid 1000 registration fee their and appear for the interview round. First, the professor talks about the college Second, there is a written test where we mention about ourselves. Third, I appear for an interview round where they judge my interpersonal skills, level of confidence, listening ability, communication skills, etc. Then after that, I got a call from the college for selection.

Faculty :

As per my own opinion in my college, the marketing professor is the best because they give you a holistic view of the corporate world and provide sound knowledge about marketing in very interesting ways. Finance professors are also good but most of them are visiting faculty. Operation and international business professors provide sound knowledge about supply chain and logistics management. As per my line of interest, human resource subject least prefer on my side. Giving you a holistic view each domain contains at least 10 corporate experience interaction on every month which ultimately enhances our level of networking on LinkedIn.

Placement Experience:

The placements of IIFT DELHI are at par with some of the old IIM's like Lucknow, Indore, Kozhikode. Iift is beast when it comes to finance and marketing. Every major international bank and every hedge fund visit the campus for recruitment. Also IIFT caters to some trade companies that only recruit from this college and don't visit any other campus in India. Last year 102 companies visited the campus , the median package was around 26 lakhs and average was around 27 lakhs. Highest package stood at 85 lakhs. And 100 percent placement was achieved. I'll be most probably going for working in a bank or a hedge fund after the degree

Placement Experience:

The Only thing this college is lacking about its placement cells. Students where running the placement cell and some teacher assist them to get opportunities based on their personal connections. But they don't have any particular department which is responsible for providing placement assistance.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for final placements in third semester and summer placements in the first semester itself. We have many big names here in the campus JP Morgan Chase and Co, Morgan Stanley, AON, ICICI Bank, Atomberg, Hindalco, Deloitte, KPIT, Samsung, etc. Almost all the students get placed here. I'd the percentage is above 90. The highest placement offered was 26LAC+ and the average stood at 14lacs. I am currently intern at a company via the college placements and am working towards getting a PPO. If I get one, I plan on staying in the same company.
