Course Curriculum Overview :

Cource curriculum is ok but some times it is not logical just we have to learn and paste in exam no use in real life. It not that relevant it would be more better. All over ok is the course curriculum.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 173000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Details of the internship opportunities available with college:-We can join internship from 2nd year and many companies give internship like Google, Amazon, Volvo, Microsoft,etc. there is also opportunities for starting Startups.

Placement Experience :

The placement is good in vit college but for getting better placement we have to struggle hard. For electrical and electronics engineering there is also good opportunity for placement this year many reputed companies visit this college.

Fees and Financial Aid :

VIT, Chennai is located beside the main chennai City. Student get addimition on the basis of the exam named as viteee. There are 5 categories divided on the basis of rank get in viteee.1st year electrical and electronics engineering fees structure:- Category 1:-173000 Category 2:-308000 Category 3:-398000 Category 4:-458000 Category 5:-500000 Per year Caution fees:-3000 Registration fees:-5900

Campus Life :

Campus Life is not that good but definitely other things like focusing on social aspects, Club involvement and infrastructure provide are very good. Specialy club involvement is the main thing that is more helpful for many students.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels infrastructure is good. Room are of normal size. wash room and rooms cleaned every day. But the fees of hostels is more as compared to facilities. There is restriction for going out of hostels after 9:00 pm we can't go to campus also.

Hostel Fee : INR 180000 per year

Admission :

The consuling was started very earlye before other consuling so I wasn't sure about other collage and there was no other option remaining for me. This college have better placement and average package than other collage in which I was qualified.

Faculty :

In vit faculty are really good. They are helping and guiding proper. In 1 seminar there is 3 exams 2 are cat1 and cat2 and final semester exam is fat. the time period of exam is about 2 months. The marking scheme is comparatively so it is good.

this is where they lie the most , they claim to have placement records of 97% but in reality its just 10%. because of huge student crowd , placing everyone is one big task. the company that comes here for hiring are mostly startups and some lesser known company . branches like mechanical and EEE have it even more difficult time to get placement.the highest package of over college is of 16 lakhs .

Placement Experience:

At VIT Chennai, students become eligible for campus placements starting from their 6th semester, with placement training beginning in the 5th semester. Top companies or recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, PayPal, Bosch, Accenture, and Intel, among others. In 2023, over 900 companies participated across VIT campuses, making more than 12,000 offers. The highest package offered was ?1.02 crore per annum by a global recruiter, while the average package for core placements ranged between ?6-7 LPA, with Super Dream offers exceeding ?25 LPA and Dream offers ranging from ?10-15 LPA. Around 90% of eligible students get placed, with profiles offered in software development, consulting, analytics, and core engineering. After completing the degree, students often pursue roles in top companies, higher studies, or entrepreneurial ventures.
