Entrance Preview :
I did my graduation from this college and hence there was no entrance exams for the same. However It did have a cut off marhs for the HSC.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course was prescribed by the University of Mumbai. The Professors did a fantastic job of explaining the syllabus in the most innovative ways possible. Not only did the students understand the contents but also took home excellent leanings, The Course curriculum, since prescribed by the university holds no practical learning what so ever and needs a revision.
Internships Opportunities :
No. it did not provide internship at that time. We at times did ofcourse did some kind of summer jobs which helped us with the practical training and the pocket money
Placement Experience :
No. it did not provide placements at that time. This was because courses like Bcom, BA, etc did not have the options of internships and none of the companies opted for campus placements. We did however had a notice board where local job opportunities were placed.
College Events :
St Gonsalo Garcia college was quite well known at that time for its cultural events and programs. The entire event and program spanned for a duration of three days with various events and competitions taking place.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees structure was prescribed by the University of Mumbai. If i remember it right I had paid some 3500 for first year 4500 for the second year and about 5500 for the last year of my course.

It also had an option of economically Backward class form that could be filled by such students and get a concession in the fees.
Campus Life :
The gender ratio is fairly equal overall but does vary considerably from course to course. The college and the students are very tolerant towards any views which might not exactly conform to their own.
Hostel Facilities :
The college did not have any kind of hostel. Boys and Girls who wish to study here can take up accommodation in hostels, PGs or flats nearby. The rent+bills can vary from 2,000 a month to 20,000. It all really depends on what kind of facilities the person is looking for.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network is strong we have many celebrities to boast of and it's just not academics that alumni has excelled in it's spread like a buffet you can pick and field and you will have the alumni in that field be it sports academics art sciences hospitality you name it.
Exam Structure :
Exams were conducted as per the prescribed format of the university. The Mumbai university laid down the rules and regulations with ref to the exams which were conducted twice in a year. every 6 months. There was a term exam and a final exam with ATKT facilities where you coud still go to a higher class in case you do not clear any particular subject.
