We arw free to do whatever we want. No one is going to control us in any way

Dislikes

They increase the fee sem by sem without a prior notice and wont tell us for what they have increased the fee.
Poor infrasture facilities in the college. Inspite of huge amount of fee they dont provide us with any facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course is very good but we are not in the depth of the subject. We study only based on previous year question paper . We dont study based on subject. We study by looking youtube. We never study on what teachers teach us.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 47000 per year

Placement Experience :

Campus placement is there for the college but very less. Electrical students get very few package. Vedanta, Tcs, Reliance , Tata ,Shobha construction , Merilitics, Visteon ... 20% get placed. I am looking for job after btech

Fees and Financial Aid :

Fee is huge. They increase it sem by sem. And they dont provide any facility. When we ask for any thing they say that we dont have fund. We dont know where its going. 7th sem we had a fee of Rs 48920/-. Unneseccary they increase the fee. 1st sem we had a fee of Rs430005/-.

Campus Life :

Campus life is good. Programs and events are many In cusat . Classrooms are not technology driven . No proper snartboards for electrical students. Extracuricular activities are many in CUSAT. Many clubs and group activitiestakes place here.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are few in CUSAT . They dont meet for all students. Only very less students get accomadated in hostel. Food in one of the girls hostel is good others are poor. Regiatration is based on distance. Basen on distance you will get hostel.

Hostel Fee : INR 500 per year

Admission :

We have to write CUSAT CAT exam. They we need to qualify the exam. Subject include Maths Phy and Chem. Exam is easy compared to JEE. We need to get a particular mark to come in rank list. For those whose rank is below 4000 will get for allotment. Others can take part in spot admission. You will get admission in spot admission

Faculty :

Faculty number is very less. We hardly get faculty to teach us. They dont have much experience . Some of them teach us well but majority dont know what to teach. We can approach only one or two teachers others are not as expected.

CUSAT Cochin campus- best college life you can get in kerala

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

My College Life at FISAT

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.
