- The infrastructure especially of the department of computer science and engineering(artificial intelligence & machine learning , data science) is very nice.
- The play area for different sports like basketball ,shuttle are decent.
Dislikes
- More field trips are appreciated. Which helps students to interact with real time environment.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum of AI&ML specifically stresses emerging technologies like AI, ML, Block Chain, Deep Learning, NLP, and AI with Robotics which made me choose this course in the first place. The curriculum consists all the major concepts that are needed for the practical implementation of the technologies(through research) and the examinations help to pursue the concepts better.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The tution fees are 79300 and JVD is also applicable and the bus charge usually depends on the distance (approximately 35 to 40 km you may be charged around 40000 for 2 semesters. ) The placements usually start in the late 6th or early 7th semesters and continues till the 8th semester.
Campus Life :
Every year a fest is conducted for 2 days which includes conducting events from 10 to 15 days prior and also a cultural night and many technical and non-technical shows. The central library holds many kinds of books apart from syllabus and department books such as previous exam question papers, competitive exam books, story books, puzzles and also magazines from various sources, everyday newspapers, and many more reference books, etc. The classrooms are fitted with proper ventilation, blackboard, projector and also different areas for sports (both indoor and outdoor). Fields are at a minimal level and different clubs are hosted for improving the interpersonal skills of the students and anti-ragging commities, grievience commities are strict.
Admission :
I have applied to this college through Eamcet counselling and the admission was pretty smooth. My rank was around 9k and there were only 36 seats available for the AI&ML department in 2021 and I got my seat in the first counseling whereas of now the no. of seats has increased to 120 (approx.) and so the cutoff would be high compared to 2021.
Faculty :
The faculty-to-student ratio is appropriate and it helps us students to maintain a smooth relationship with pur faculty, The faculty are experienced ( not everyone are at a level of high expertise ) and are super supportive to help us outside the campus and after the college hours.
