one of the best college for Applied sciences

Remarks :

Please start a good canteen in college campus, and relax some strict rules so that students feel like they are in college, and not in school

Course Curriculum Overview :

course curriculum is very advance which matches international level. its microbiology department is equivalent to MS university, and other good department of Indian universities. Curriculum also covers basic science subjects in first year like Physics, chemistry, and English as literature

Internships Opportunities :

internship was provided as per course requirement, companies like Sun pharma Alembic are involved and academics like MSU and dept of bio sciences take care of internship. Steepened is not provided for undergrad internship.

Placement Experience :

college organizes placement camps in collaboration with SP university bio sciences department. invites various biotech and pharma industries for placement. companies like Sun pharma, Cadila, Alembic, Torrent, etc are invited for campus placement. Most of the students opt for post graduation rather than going for a job after graduation.

College Events :

Most of the festivals are celebrated, few of them like, annual day, Ratri before navratri, diwali, new year, freshers party etc. Several conferences and Technical workshops are also organised at regular interval. inter college events are also organised.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible compared to other private colleges of its category. during my days fee for one year was around 16000, which was less compared to other private college. what you get out of money you pay is incomparable for NVPAS. fees are on higher side for foreign student and NRI quota

Fees and Financial Aid :

Loan facility is provided by different banks near college campus, in the form of student loan. collage management helps in loan formalities.

Campus Life :

gender ration is almost about 1 girl for 2 boys, lot of extracurricular activities takes place, labs and library are very good in terms of infrastructure. annual sports day takes place, several technical and non technical competitions takes place, inter college competition takes place.students are encouraged to participate in all the activities.

Hostel Facilities :

university hostel is proved which is very cheap, with average facility, Although food quality is good. there are several private hostels of all category is available around colleges campus which a student can opt as there is no restriction to choose only college hostel

Alumni/Alumna :

college has a very good alumni network. seniors are always in touch with fresh students. there is a dedicated web page for alumni association of college

Exam Structure :

two internal and one external examination is carried out every year for all the three years of graduation. weekly class test is carried out every week , which included short syllabus of what is teached in a fortnight. weekly test is of 25 marks and passing mark is 9.

Admission :

First criterion was first class in 12th exam, then it was purely on merit basis. students from all states of India are welcome, and they get admission purely on merit. there is reserved seat for foreign students and also for NRI students. fee is high for foreign and NRI quota.

Faculty :

Faculty members are well trained, and well educated. their teaching quality is very good, they always remain up to date with recent knowledge in their field. Personal care is taken for each student, like there is a student councilor for every 30 students which takes care of their overall development

Course Curriculum Overview:

Computer Science is one of the brighest discipline to take in contemporary times. The learning is very practical with application oriented subjects. At the same time the curriculum through projects , prepares us for real world application

Placement Experience:

Most teachers that teach us right now are a result of campus placements where they took the students and hired them to teach the subjects to newer students. But most seniors I've talked to prefer looking for a job on their own because the placement that my college offers is not the best but it would be a decent start because the average package from the posters I've seen in the campus is around 3-4 lakhs. But to be on the far safer side I don't think you should expect my college to give you a good placement and just look for it on your own
