Course Curriculum Overview :

MBBS is one of the best professional degrees in our country. Being a doctor is a very big responsibility. I always wanted to be a doctor and help our community. It is a 5.5-year-long course in which exams occur at regular intervals. In our university, there are two internal exams, one per university exam, and one university exam every year. Other than that weekly and monthly tests are also conducted by respective departments.

Internships Opportunities :

After 4.5 years of study, there is a one year internship in MBBS. It occurs in the campus hospital itself. The stipend of the internship is around 14k rupees per month. Accomodation in internship can also bhi done in the hostels if you want.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Students of Madhya Pradesh gets complete scholarships in this course. But even without scholarship it is not a very expensive course If you are in a government medical college. For example in my case I don't get scholarship as I am from Rajasthan but the fees is not too much also hostels are very affordable.

Campus Life :

Infrastructure is very nice. It is one of the new medical colleges of Madhya Pradesh so it is very modern. Campus is very large. All the hostels are in it. Hospital and college are also in the campus so you don't have to travel anywhere. Classrooms are fully equipped with projector, aur conditioning and speakers. Library is fully equipped with all necessary books and there is a 24/7 reading room too

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are very nice. There are 2 students living in each room. Each of them is provided with a chai, study table, a bed, a mattress, ab almirah. The fees is 12000 Rs per year which is very affordable.

Admission :

For an MBBS in a govt medical College, you have to appear in the NEET exam. The cutoff of my college is not very high. For AIQ students it closes at around 20000 rank for the UR category and for state quota students It closes at around 450000 Rank. All the required documents are submitted at the time of admission to the college after you are alloted this college in online counseling

Faculty :

My self Mohit Malav MBBS Third proff student batch 2021. I am from Rajasthan so I got admission here via All India quota of NEET UG counseling. At first I was a little disappointed in the college but after some time I realised that the academic education here is far better than other famous medical colleges. Professors are strict so they put efforts in teaching and help students in every way possible. Hostel environment is also very nice. Shivpuri is a very calm place and very beautiful. There are many natural waterfalls and other places to go.

Other Applied Colleges

Government Medical College & Hospital | Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

It was very far away from my home

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is MBBS.it is quite a rigorous course with lot of comprehensiveness and workload. Relevance to the course is there. The curriculum is pretty important as it trains us well enough for the outside world and how to deal with it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course obviously has everything to make a good doctor. Being a doctor will place you in emergency situations sometimes and we are taught well how to deal with them. Although as MBBS doctors the spectrum of patients we see are limited. Its only after post-grad that u can get to see more patients.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This curriculum is one the few best developed ones which provides real time problem solving at an actual working facility. The medical college is a part of a tertiary care government hospital to provide , train and allow students to apply the knowledge acquired to utilise to treat the patient under the supervision and guidance of the faculty cum doctors at the hospital. The student feels the pride and responsibility of becoming a doctor and the special attribute the profession holds as a life savior of the society. The curriculum is constantly under modification and scrutiny under the nmc with several reforms over the past decades. Few aspects where more improvement might be done is the more clinical teaching at the initial years of course., which is currently started from 3-4 year. The exams are held often frequently with an internal assessment every 3-4 months followed by a pre- university and university exams each year. The exams hold a difficulty level of above average, making only the ones genuinely preparing for it to pass the exam. The passing percentage is 50 for each exam individually for practical and theoretical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a professional course and you do need skills to treat patients as it may become a matter of life and death. The teaching curriculum is as per the guidelines of NMC which is a central body and consists again of great doctors with reputation all over India. So, I don't really think that I can really suggest any means to improve that.
