Course Curriculum Overview :

After NEP-2020 the curriculum and subject content are revised and the changes done are worth praising. They are related to our academic and human development also along with the skill development. Subjects like professional development and communication provides us knowledge and skills on which one must focus on to be more effortless than others. Areas for improvement are class management and examination centres. The frequency and timings of exams are perfect according to me , but the examination centres are not in good conditions like mosquitos, unhygienic washrooms and broken desks/table/chair.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Since NEP-2020 fee has been increased but it's manageable because it have to be paid at the beginning of the session/year. Till now I have paid Rs.14,640(6,820+7,820) of my 1st and 2nd year. There are scholarships available for those students who can't afford to pay the fee. Nothing like campus emploment, job roles, responsibilities and stipend awards are there.

Campus Life :

There are no events and functions. I haven't been to library so don't know about the books and journals availablity. Poor classroom conditions. No sports and extracurricular activities. No student run social groups, clubs etc

Admission :

Eligibility was to score 45% in class 12th. Application forms are available at the DU-SOL official website and also at Samarth portal. Frequency of exams is twice a year with gap of 6 months in between. Exams are conducted at the end of each semester. If you have studied then exams are easy to ace.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is 1:200 and once it happened that our class was scheduled but no faculty was there and when we asked the other faculty present there they told us to sit in their lecture and he was of some another major. Faculty's credentials and their approach to teaching are commendable during online classes but during offline they come late and leave early and only a little amount is covered. They have never mentored us. Everytime during offline classes I interact with them some faculty members are so good they even conduct debates and open discussion.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements starts from the fifth semester, that is from the last year of the course. Different companies like Delloite, IBM, etc visits for placement opportunities and as far as I knew, the lowest CTC in the year 2022 was around 6lakhs per annum. I did my post-graduation later on so I never went through the placement process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good. Real-world experiences are also provided. Practicals and experiments are conducted. Although teaching methods can be significantly improved by the college faculty. The faculty is very rude

In RLAC there is a placement cell which work for providing placements . Every year many companies ( big/ small) come and choose the liable students for their companies. Looking back into not many MNLC s have approached to college but yes by looking at the stats it can't be said that MNlCs don't approach.

KPMG, Deloitte, PwC and others have blacklisted many colleges and have or are in favour of KMC. Analyst and project level jobs are offered to KMC students and from 7th semester onwards students gear up for placements.
