I don't find anything negative or bad about my college. Each and every thing in this college is well managed.
Entrance Preview :
This college is coming up with flying colours since last 14 years. After 12th when I was searching for the best institute for engineering on Google then I came to know about this college. I went through the college website and found that this is one of the colleges that provides the best academic classes and laboratories and also it conducts various other activities. And I decided to take admission in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I think this is the only college which focuses on both theoretical and practical knowledge. College conducts regular classes for every course and tries to give its best. We are allowed to do our own projects also and we can use any laboratory any time.
Internships Opportunities :
No, currently my college doesn't provide internship. But now-a-days it is trying to take a step for the paid internship.
Placement Experience :
The placement percentage of PSIT is 95-100%. I got placed in Infosys in my 7th semester. The college provides the best training program for the placement. From the starting of the 4th year of B.Tech, a new company comes to the college everyday. Core companies also visit the campus.
College Events :
1- Waves-The Freshers Event- This is conducted for the first year students. 2- 15 Augeust- My college celebrates independent day every year. 3- 2nd October - My college celebrates Gandhi Jayanti every year. 4- 26th January- My college celebrates Republic day every year. 5- Ignitia- The Youth Fest- It is cultural event organised by the college for two days.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure of this college is very clear. No extra amount is taken by the student. They provide more facilities in very favourable fee and also there is no extra charge for sports and medical facilities. So the fee structure of the college is very feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid :
As I mentioned in the admission process, if your marks are more than 60% in the entrance exam, you will get the 40% Scholarship of your fee. The college also offers the loan facility.
Hostel Facilities :
In the hostel, there are both AC and Non-AC rooms. The choice of the room depends upon the student. There are separate hostels for both boys and girls. And also there are separate hostels for students of 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year and 4th year. They also provide the laundry facility without any extra charge. The quality of mess food is also good.
Alumni/Alumna :
The seniors of this college are very supportive. I'm in contact with the more than 50 seniors of my college who are working in different different companies.
Exam Structure :
There are basically 4 assignments, 2 class-tests and 1 Pre-university examination conducted by the college. Each assignment is of 10 marks, each class test is of 20 marks and Pre-university exam is of 70 marks. The internal marks of the student is decided by considering all these exams.
Admission :
When I came to this college for admission I was asked to take an entrance examination conducted by college. Let me make one thing clear if any student fails to qualify this exam he/she will not get the admission. Fortunately I qualified for the test. After that my 10th and 12th marksheets were verified and there was general interview. And finally I got the admission.
Faculty :
The faculty of this college is very much supportive. They work very hard inside the classroom and also in the labs. They are always ready to help us. If any student is having doubts in any subject he/she can contact to the faculty any time. They also try to give us extra knowledge.
