Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is up to date, the first year courses teach the basics of engineering and what's required to be an engineer. The course is well scheduled and might be a bit challenging but overall it's pretty good.
Internships Opportunities :
I've heard that most students get internships through college from third year but I don't know how accurate it is. Since I'm just a first year I do not have much idea about this. But as far as I know the internships situation is pretty good.
Placement Experience :
The industry is kind of down right now but usually the placements in this college are good in fact pes is well known for its placements. Around 60% students got placed this year as far as I know but usually it's upto 90% and everyone is expecting the industry to rise again.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Since I have joined through CET it cost me up to one lakh rupees but if you join through pessat it could cost you upto 5-6 lakh per annum. And the numbers for management can go even higher. To reduce fees you can get scholarships depending on your gpa, it can go upto 50% fee return.
Campus Life :
Campus life is pretty good but everything mostly depends on the circle you are around, but when it comes to college it does have a decent amount of fests and activities. A good number of clubs and interactive courses which can help in the future and to learn and develop new skills.
Admission :
Since I have joined through CET I joined the course with a 5400-ish rank. The cutoff for general merit went upto 5800ish and other categories were even higher. The admission process can be a bit frustrating if you are coming through CET. Because of the extensions and the change of dates etc.
Faculty :
I've heard that all of them have finished their PHDs, most of them seem very experienced when it comes to teaching and are open to doubts and questions. It is pretty good when it comes to student teacher interaction.
