- The infrastructure is really so good, each building contains at least of 10 floors
- The activities and the programs are very unique and different which actually we have everyday in our collage
Dislikes
- In hostels we have only 4 lifts, so we have to wait for lifts for long time
- In mess the food is good but some days its not and the on non veg day they provide very little amount of nonveg food
Course Curriculum Overview :
Well, if we talk about the course curriculum the process is really intresting because, in the very beginning as per our attendence we'll get a slot as per our slot time we have to book our course subjects and faculty and class timings aslo and the curriculum prepares the students very practically in labs and in classes aslo with digital boards provided in everyu classroom. The only areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching method is the teachers are really so fast and they way they correct the papers are very strict. The question papers are moderatly difficult and the exam timings for the mid exams also know as CAT( Cummitive assiment test) is one and hour and for the end sem exam aslo know as FAT(finial assiment test) is 3hours
Internships Opportunities :
As i am first year student i am not aware about the interships but as per my knowledge obtained by my elders in my university if we want any intership opportunities we should be perfect in any skill given in our college and we should be ready with a perfect project and good coding skills and there is a separate community to anage all this placement and the interships
Placement Experience :
If we are good enough in our acedamics then we dont need to worry about the placements , if we maintaine good CGPA and if we focus more on our skillls insted of subjects then we will place in our college placements itself. Many multinational companies will visit vit chennai every year like microsoft , amazon , infosis, google, deloite, tata , and many others. the highest package of vit chennai last year is 75lakhs and the average package is 8.19 lakhs and my plans after the degree is to get a good god with atleast 12 LPA
Fees and Financial Aid :
The fee structre is depends on your rank in VITEEE exam counducted by the VIT university every year, almost 5 lakh people write this exam and , just by your rank the fee is divided into five category , 1st category is of 2lakhs almost and the fee will increase by ne lakh if we increse the category. Myself i am studing in first category so almost its taks 16 lakhs of ruppess to complete my engeneering course in vit category 1. if we talk about the placements the avaerage package is really so good and the placements opportunities are really high if we are good enough in our academics .
Campus Life :
The overall experience with campus life focusing on social aspects , club inolvement and the infracstructure provided is really great exprecience if we talk about the infrastructure we have 4 hostel blocks and 3 academic blocks , every hostle block is atleast 14-16 floors and the academic blocks al of 8 floors with AC labs and digital class rooms and we also have very big plygrounfds and cricket nets and volley ball courts and batmintin courts and also swimming pools and AC gyms also the sports are really good in our campus . if we talk about the clubs we have many clubs and every day we perform one or 3 acativities in our campus and very intresting fun activities also in festiva days , we should join in any one of the club it s mandotary in our camps we have credits for this. and if we talk about library personally i love my university library it is really good and the funiture and the centeral AC every thing is really good and we will get all the books over there and we take them als
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel rooms are very good , actually we have to select the rooms first , they provide AC rooms and the non AC rooms across 4 blocks and the mess is of 3 types 1. VEG 2. NON-VEG 3. SPECIAL MESS . Veg mess is 70k, non veg is 80k and sp mess is 90k allmost and the ac rooms are closely 1lakh per year and the non ac rooms are 50k per year cosly , we have to share rooms with 6 memebers or 4 members or 2 members or else we can also stay alone in single bebed room , fee depends on the type of room u select. if u wanna stay in any pg, there are some pg's near our university , costs neaar;y 1.2 lakh per year. if we talk about menu for veg mess its just panner and mushroom are the soecial items and if we talk about the non veg and sp mess its chiken and fish for 4 to 5 days respectively
Admission :
After the allotement of the rank , if it is below 50k then it is consider as good one , now you have to pay 6000 for counciling fee and you have to put the campus and the branch and the eligibility is any inter board with 60% in maths , physics and chemistry and vit provides no revesation benfits . The entrence exam duration is 2 hours 30 minuties and 125 questions and the exam is moderatly hard
Faculty :
All the faculty in my are really very much qualified and the way they tech and the way they apporaach the students aare really very great and we have teachers from all over india, and as i mention before the students are also from all over india so they explain only in english and if we have any doubts and any problems we can apporch and we can interact with them very freely without any fear they are really friendly
