Remarks :
My experience of three and a half years with the college is very good. I would like to recommend this college to other people also. One bad remark I would like to mention is regarding the timing of the college. College should modify the timings as right now it is very hectic.
Entrance Preview :
It is one of the best engineering colleges in Anand governed by CVM. It has well qualified and experienced faculties in all the branches. The atmosphere of the college gives any student positive vibes. It is involved in a wide variety of technical and cultural fest.
Course Curriculum Overview :
A.D. Patel Institute of technology strictly follows the Gujarat Technological University's Curriculum. Gujarat Technological University (GTU) provides the course curriculum for all the branches and for all the Colleges that belong to GTU. According to me the curriculum provided by GTU is good but not perfect because the syllabus is sometimes outdated.
Internships Opportunities :
No A.D. Patel Institute of technology does not provide an internship. But yes students can go for internships on their own.
Placement Experience :
In the last academic year(2017-18) the total of 208 students was placed. In the current academic year (2018-19) the total of 103 students are placed up till now and more will be placed ahead. Companies like TCS, L&T, GENERAL MOTORS, MEDITAB, EINFOCHIPS and more came for placement. And the packages may vary from 2-6L.
College Events :
1) Spectrum: it is the name given to the techfest which is celebrated annually. 2) Swapnaratri: it is the garba night that is celebrated with the traditional Gujarati culture. 3) Annual day: As every college has it's the annual day we too celebrate it annually. 4) cultural day: we also celebrate cultural day annually which has various cultural events. 5) engineer's day 6) other various social and cultural events
Fee Structure And Facilities :
A D Patel Institute of technology follows the fee structure of ACPC. ACPC regulates the fee structure of all the colleges. For the government college fees are nominal as low as 1500? and for private colleges, it varies between 1-1.5 Lacs. For students with good rank in merit are provided with scholarships.
Fees and Financial Aid :
CVM offers scholarships to the students that have secured good score in the exams. Also, GTU has the provision of providing scholarships to brilliant students. Other government scholarships are also welcomed.
Campus Life :
A D Patel Institute of technology is the engineering college so the campus life would be just amazing. Regarding the gender ratio, boys have the dominance over the girls. In every 2-3 months there various debates and GDs are held. Also, sports like basketball, volleyball, cricket, kabaddi, and badminton are played. Also, the college has a vast cricket ground.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, A D Patel Institute of technology does provide hostel and mess facilities to its students. For first-year students the college hostel is mandatory. Every room has the capacity of 3 students and it has attached bathrooms. Also, the fees for the hostel are normal and the mess food is not so good.
Alumni/Alumna :
Senior students are very friendly and kind to there juniors. Especially during exams and placement, they are very helpful to us.
Exam Structure :
Again A.D. Patel Institute of technology strictly follows the Gujarat Technological University's exam structure. Every semester exam is conducted by GTU. The university exam is of 70 marks. The midsem exam is of 20 marks, 10 marks are with the faculty and rest 50 marks includes viva and practical. So total 150 marks.
Admission :
To take admission in A.D. Patel Institute of technology there are only two ways. First one is according to the merit and second is through the management quota. I got admission on the basis of merit. The merit list is prepared by ACPC and is prepared on the basis of 12th marks and JEE score.
Faculty :
As mentioned earlier in the survey A.D. Patel Institute of technology has well qualified and experienced faculties in all of the branches. Faculties of IT branch to which I belong are very friendly and professional. They have their own unique ways to teach any particular subjects and topics and they are available at any time.
