- Im an english student and the english lab, infrastructure, buildings, equipments all are really really good and money well spent by the college. The library is also one of the biggest library in all of india with over 1,00,000 books present.
- The canteen is not up to the mark because from what i have experienced in previous colleges the canteen of CKT compared to them is not that good because there is a limited variety of food available and the quality is also mot thag good.

- The management is really slow if you want to get something done it would take hours and hours after college just for a sign from the authority, i held an e-sports event here and my college ends at 12 but i had to wait till 7pm just for a sign.
- Its supposed to be an english medium college but most teachers from other departments teach in marathi as the local language which puts student who dont know marathi in a pinch. English department obviously teaches in english im talking about others.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course in terms of relevance is relevant and comprehensive. It's the same one prescribed by the university of mumbai and there are only slight and minor changes which only benefit the student. As for the areas for improvement I don't think there are any because the teaching methods and stuff of teachers is pretty great. The exams are conducted twice a year in 2 semester and the difficulty for me who's an icse kid from mumbai was 4/10. For me it was easy.
Internships Opportunities :
I only saw a couple of internship opportunities at this college in the soon of 1 year and that too was for tele calling and as for someone like me who wants to make his career in education these type of internships don't really make sense for me. And also another thing is that this college has a weird rule of not allowed any tshirts without collar for boys which may be implemented for discipline but to be honest it isn't doing anything and no one follows that so yea I think that's about it.
Placement Experience :
After the third year or final year the students become eligible for campus placement and interviews . The companies that visit here range from icici bank, pharmaceutical companies, telecalling and tele marketing companies, dominos call centre services, nda (for ncc) etc. Highest package that i have personally seen for a fresher is of 2.5lpa and average package is around 1.8lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is still undisclosed by the college. My plans after getting the ba English literature degree is to pursue masters of English literature from this same college while preparing for UGC NET and doing a teaching job at a school.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The fees for tyba was 10,000 and this college is government aided college so fees for all streams are relative. 10,000 is the complete cost which I had faced other than that I also had faced 50 rupee drama club charge and 170 rupee times of india newspaper provision charge. The scholarship are available in this college and they are quite helpful for that. Even though I haven't personally applied for any scholarship but I frequently see them being sent out in our groups and their notices available. There are a lot of in campus placement opportunities which are provided by the placement cell of the college.
Campus Life :
The annual festivals are the anniversary of the founder, the sports day, cultural days like saree day Or formal day and freshers party and farewell these are the only frequent events happening in college and as for the education fests there is avishkar which is appreciated in the entire college and a lot of students participate in it besides that there are international Conference for students to present their papers. The library has almost everything you can ask for with over 100000 physical books and digitized library too for accessibility so yes kudos to them. The classrooms are all equipped with projectors and screens but rarely used. Instead most used is the interactive English laboratory which has state of the art technology with smart board and over 80 high end pc's. Sports is taken really seriously with boxing, wrestling, football, cricket, table tennis, judo, handball, badminton, etc available in this colllege. I haven't seen any entirely student run groups yet.
Admission :
For BA you can take any stream in your 11th and 12th and still apply for ba here. You just have to make it to the cut off list which is also pretty easy no issues here too. The application form for this college is only in online mode and you have to get the print of that with necessary documents like 10th 12th marksheet leaving certificate etc snd get it to the office for further process. The office was really helpful too for me because I took direct admission here in ty so a lot of transfer problems occured but they helped me through all that and also for my MA admission. There are reservation benefits in this college as I have observed for the obc st sc etc. The exams are moderate in difficulty for me it was easy though because I have had most of my schooling done from mumbai. There are no areas for improvement for the admission process.
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is about 1 teacher per 5 students for my concerned department. The faculty are qualified with NET/SET and masters and also a few with phd's. The interaction with teachers is quite free and no boundaries are seem to be present in that case
