- I liked the hostel infrastructure, how spacious it is with good food and gym.
- The college education system is also good, not that strenuous
Dislikes
- The hostel rooms are small, but new blocks have been made
- The library could have been bigger and should have had more seating
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course I have opted for is data science. they have many lab practicals and classes that also provide real time experience with the technology and how to use it. Exams are held in two phases, mid terms and end terms and the difficulty level is good.
Internships Opportunities :
internship opportunities are available but they are paid ones. they often partner with colleges like IIT Kharagpur or companies like Wipro to provide internship to the students. but payment is required for recieving the training
Placement Experience :
Campus placements are quite good. the average package is 7 lakhs per annum. Many companies like Deloitte, Wipro, Infotech visit the campus. The highest package goes till 50+ lakhs. After I get the degree, there are two options, either a good job or masters
Fees and Financial Aid :
Tuition fee doesn't increase that much, it mostly remains constant. the complete cost of education is 16-18 lakhs approximately. There are scholarships available to students who get cgpa above 9. Campus employment is not there, but there are many engineering clubs that can be joined
Campus Life :
The campus life is brilliant. Fests are held multiple times and the main fest is oneiros which was held in February this year. Books are available in library, no shortage of that. Many students run clubs are present
Hostel Facilities :
the hostel facility is quite good, it's known as ghs. new hostels are being made for freshers.the meal quality is best out of all private colleges. the price per annum is approx 2 lakhs including meals. registration process is a little tedious though.
Admission :
You can be eligible through 12th marks, or give met test. The difficulty is not that hard. Application forms can be found on their main website to apply and register. Met exams are held twice and the difficulty level is good. Admission process can be improved by having more people in admin department pick up calls and be more interactive.
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is 1:70. In a class there are 70 students. The facultys teaching is quite up to standard. They also take extra classes and remedial classes for children lagging behind, and take extra care for them. Teachers are quite approachable and usually help in all cases.
