The Teachers and hods are very friendly with the students. Interaction is very excellent
The canteen and the college campus are very good.

Dislikes

There is no indoor stadium. It's a major requirement for the students
There Is flood problem during monsoon season. Drainage system needs to be improved

Course Curriculum Overview :

The subjects are quite interesting and good. Exams are held twice in five months. They are held under the vigilance of excellent faculty. The curriculum included in the course prepares students to compete in the real world and build a good personality.

Class Size : 20Course Fees : INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid :

Fees are quite cheaper compared to courses offered by other institutions. In even semester the fees may be around 600-800. In odd semesters there is a renewal admission process and the fees is around 5000 which is quite affordable. Various scholarships are granted for undergraduates and postgraduate student.

Campus Life :

Various fest and festivals are celebrated in the campus organized by the students under the guidance of various departments. College week in held every year in a very smooth way. Various sports and other development activities are organised and students participate with great enthusiasm. Different clubs are also present like ncc, nss, virangana etc

Admission :

Admission process was not a difficult one. It was quite smooth. There wasn't any entrance test for admission, it was on merit basis. The cut off for general is around 88+ in the college. Application form and other courses details are available in the college website. Anyone can check it from there

Faculty :

The faculty approach to students is excellent. Most faculty members have good qualifications and their way of teaching is very good. They are very free and friendly to interact with. Samrt classes are taken by the teachers and presentation are conducted frequently to build confidence level of the students

The NEP has brought out many useful aspects in the learning journey ... As now , the student gets real life problems to solve ... Which overall helps them in real business problem solving ... Placement Experience:

After completion of graduation exams only students are choosen. I have completed B.Com degree from this college and I am very thankful to this college. But placement offers are very less not proportionate as compared to universities

Good for b.com

Admission:

Till my time admission process was totally offline. One need to fill the form and submitted to the college. Merit list is made on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th. Admission is only given on the merit basis.

Placement Experience:

Placement record of this college is quite poor. Although this college only provide general degree courses. There is Not much seen of on campus placement and job offer provide are not very good. Due to this reason many student go for MBA.

College under Gauhati University

Admission:

Getting admission in our college is quite simple one has to make application in offline mode by filling in the detailed application form which is available at the reception of the college along with the prospectus. After submission of the application you have to wait for the approval of college. Once the admission is approved you are required to complete the formalities like submission of fees and document verification. Nowadays admission application is also available online. One reason for opting for this college was that it was close to my residence and was popular in our district.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a placement and recruitment related help centre for Students. However when it comes to getting the students placed with good job packages the institute has almost nothing to offer. A student is on his own for jobs and internships and the college only provides the academic knowledge and degree certification.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course of B.com here is average and better known for arts degree. There are internal exams and end semester exams.You can submit the paper for scrutiny but not for re-evaluation. The college provides bachelor's degree in arts and commerce.
