The college vibe, friends, canteen, college week, college election etc

Dislikes

the college authority and college management, some of the classrooms are very dirty and Dusty, partiality during the college election by some teachers etc...

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is very good... So many things I learned from it.. But it could be better.... Some of the topics in our syllabus is not very important... And various important topics is not in our syllabus..

Class Size : 6Course Fees : INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid :

*.The tuition fee is 800 per month ( in my tuition center ). It I not necessary to take tuition if you can study by own *. I didn't get any scholarship because my father had govt job so I'm not aware about the scholarships.. But there is a scholarship that my many friends get is Ishan Uday. *. The amount is nearly 60,000 per year. Our course is a 3 year course.. So students get total 60,000×3= rs 180000

Campus Life :

*.My overall experience is good... I enjoyed the college election, college week, culture nights, and other events organized by the college *.our college library is very good there are many books which are very hard to find is in our college library. *.Classroom are not very high class classroom but the essential facilities are provided.. Like lights, fans, Ac etc.. Some classrooms have projector screen also..

Admission :

*Admission is based on the percentage of 12th final exam. *The students have to apply through the Darpan portal *there are seats for sc,st,obc etc reservation *The online system of application in college admission is very good but the Internet in various areas is very bad... And many people also don't know how to apply through Internet

Faculty :

*.Permanent teachers are very less, most of the teachers are freshers working on contractual basis. *.Most of the class we get by the contractual teachers. *.But they also teaches very well except some *.If I had any doubt I asked the teachers and they explained it to me very well.

The NEP has brought out many useful aspects in the learning journey ... As now , the student gets real life problems to solve ... Which overall helps them in real business problem solving ... Placement Experience:

After completion of graduation exams only students are choosen. I have completed B.Com degree from this college and I am very thankful to this college. But placement offers are very less not proportionate as compared to universities

Good for b.com

Admission:

Till my time admission process was totally offline. One need to fill the form and submitted to the college. Merit list is made on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th. Admission is only given on the merit basis.

Placement Experience:

Placement record of this college is quite poor. Although this college only provide general degree courses. There is Not much seen of on campus placement and job offer provide are not very good. Due to this reason many student go for MBA.

College under Gauhati University

Admission:

Getting admission in our college is quite simple one has to make application in offline mode by filling in the detailed application form which is available at the reception of the college along with the prospectus. After submission of the application you have to wait for the approval of college. Once the admission is approved you are required to complete the formalities like submission of fees and document verification. Nowadays admission application is also available online. One reason for opting for this college was that it was close to my residence and was popular in our district.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a placement and recruitment related help centre for Students. However when it comes to getting the students placed with good job packages the institute has almost nothing to offer. A student is on his own for jobs and internships and the college only provides the academic knowledge and degree certification.

I got admission into this college through 10+2 marks. You need to Collect the form from the college itself,fill it up submit it with self attested marksheet and 2 pass port size photographs. Also bring the minorities certificate (if applicable)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course of B.com here is average and better known for arts degree. There are internal exams and end semester exams.You can submit the paper for scrutiny but not for re-evaluation. The college provides bachelor's degree in arts and commerce.
