The ambience of the college is pretty decent and friendly. The college environment is very eco friendly. The teachers are very supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is very captivating. The course that i have opted for definitely gives me the chance to connect to the rules of the practical world. The ways of accountings, studying about the business, economics. All of these provide an insight about the world. I do not really have any complains about the teaching methods but a digitalised method of teaching would be more interesting i guess

Class Size : 130Course Fees : INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid :

Being in a government college i dont really have to struggle with the finances of fees. There are several scholarships provided by the government that can be availed by the students. One of those being "Ishaan Uday".

Campus Life :

Our college is very active culturally. It promotes extra curriculum activities with due importance. Apart from our annual program known as UNMILAN that is normally held in February, we also celebrate different festivals in our college such as bihu by organising programs and games with respect to the tradition.

Admission :

Students who have passed their class 12 irrespective of any board are eligible to apply to the course. The application form is available in our college office. And dates are updates in our college website as well. The finals of each semester take place after six months. Hence two semesters make a year. Being under the NEP SCHEME we have 4 years of degree

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is perfect as per my experience. The teachers are super friendly and supportive and are very approachable. They often encourage us to participate in extra curricular activities and also never fail to provide excellent motivation to students when in need. They support student's entrepreneural journies with great enthusiasm

Placement Experience:

After completion of graduation exams only students are choosen. I have completed B.Com degree from this college and I am very thankful to this college. But placement offers are very less not proportionate as compared to universities

Admission:

Till my time admission process was totally offline. One need to fill the form and submitted to the college. Merit list is made on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th. Admission is only given on the merit basis.

Placement Experience:

Placement record of this college is quite poor. Although this college only provide general degree courses. There is Not much seen of on campus placement and job offer provide are not very good. Due to this reason many student go for MBA.

College under Gauhati University

Admission:

Getting admission in our college is quite simple one has to make application in offline mode by filling in the detailed application form which is available at the reception of the college along with the prospectus. After submission of the application you have to wait for the approval of college. Once the admission is approved you are required to complete the formalities like submission of fees and document verification. Nowadays admission application is also available online. One reason for opting for this college was that it was close to my residence and was popular in our district.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a placement and recruitment related help centre for Students. However when it comes to getting the students placed with good job packages the institute has almost nothing to offer. A student is on his own for jobs and internships and the college only provides the academic knowledge and degree certification.

The course of B.com here is average and better known for arts degree. There are internal exams and end semester exams.You can submit the paper for scrutiny but not for re-evaluation. The college provides bachelor's degree in arts and commerce.
