Having a good competitive environment to study in
Good cultural society in the college as it has many clubs related to almost everything

Dislikes

Too much strictness in the hostel as one cannot even keep any electronic as small as speaker

Course Curriculum Overview :

The alloted courses to students are sometimes relevant and irrelevant too. But the courses has good outcomes for all of the branches and also can enhance one's knowledge. Also, foreign languages and humanities are also included in the curriculum.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 304000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

VIT is good about its internship and placement It provides a vast choices in your field and also gives equal opportunity to everyone for the internship and placement. Many MNCs such as Amazon etc gives a decent stipend to students.

Placement Experience :

Here in VIT there is good average of placement and also students are getting a good offers from different companies. Companies come in a vast numbers and provide internship and if performed well, it can turn into a PPO

Fees and Financial Aid :

On this side of college, VIT is bit expensive for many. There are no COC of fines or miscellaneous charges. Hostel fees is also quite expensive here, and same goes with the mess. Different facilities such as Gym, swimming pool must be included in the hostel fees but it's also seperately charged.

Campus Life :

The social life of VIT is good. Having a vast events of curriculum activities and also having different clubs related to different activities and also state. On an average, every fortnite there is a cultural event hosted here.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is good. 24×7 electricity and water. Hostel is air conditioned and also having wifi with decent speed. Talking about mess, it also has vast menu with good taste, but sometimes it turns out bad.

Hostel Fee : INR 143000 per year

Admission :

Admission process was simple like other colleges. VIT conducted its own entrance exam for the admission. It's totally non biased entrance exam with a little bit of reservation for the local state students.

Faculty :

Here In Vellore institute of technology there is a vast group of different faculties dealing with all sort of courses that VIT is providing to its student. Faculties are good in their particular fields and also having a good behaviour towards students.

Placement Experience:

this is where they lie the most , they claim to have placement records of 97% but in reality its just 10%. because of huge student crowd , placing everyone is one big task. the company that comes here for hiring are mostly startups and some lesser known company . branches like mechanical and EEE have it even more difficult time to get placement.the highest package of over college is of 16 lakhs .

My experience In VIT Chennai!

Placement Experience:

At VIT Chennai, students become eligible for campus placements starting from their 6th semester, with placement training beginning in the 5th semester. Top companies or recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, PayPal, Bosch, Accenture, and Intel, among others. In 2023, over 900 companies participated across VIT campuses, making more than 12,000 offers. The highest package offered was ?1.02 crore per annum by a global recruiter, while the average package for core placements ranged between ?6-7 LPA, with Super Dream offers exceeding ?25 LPA and Dream offers ranging from ?10-15 LPA. Around 90% of eligible students get placed, with profiles offered in software development, consulting, analytics, and core engineering. After completing the degree, students often pursue roles in top companies, higher studies, or entrepreneurial ventures.
