Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is for IT branch attracts me the most because there software and hardware both are included in syllabus. The curriculum updates yearly according to the market trends and is best made so that students should understand it easily. I think Teachers should more focus on practical sessions rather than only teaching theorys.

Class Size : 75Course Fees : INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience :

After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Various companies visits our college including TCS, Wipro, Nvidia etc. Highest packages are offered by nvidia and tcs digital around 10-15 lakhs . Average package is around 6-8 lakhs. Nearly 90% students get placed every year and remaining opt for gate and various exams. My plan is to pursue mtech and then opt for any job.

Fees and Financial Aid :

As I am in 2nd year I don't have any experience about campus employment opportunities. All course fees is same from last 3 years and there is not any proposal for fees hiking. Main scholarship is mahadbt scholarship and other than that various scholarships for girls and poor students is available and students apply for that yearly. Various activities are organised in our college and as per the requirement responsibilities and opportunities are obtained.

Campus Life :

Wings, Antarang and Sports Week are organised every year . Our library consists of various books in various languages and genre's. Classrooms consists of samsung tv and projector. Sports is famous in our college and there are regular extra curricular activities going on. There are many student-run social groups, clubs in which many students have participated.

Hostel Facilities :

Room consists of 3 beds, 3 tables, 3chairs, and availability of LAN. Meal quality is best and menu is unique every week. Registration process for hostel admission is simple and well organised. The environment around the college is best suited for students and rooms are available in cheap rates.

Admission :

Admission Process was very well oriented and I didn't see any flaws in the admission process. The cutoff for IT branch was above 90% and seeing the competition the cutoff is well settled. The information regarding form, fees and dates is available on official website and the website works very well. As trend goes on year to year starting dates of exam are easy as compared to others. I think due to increase in no of students pursuing engineering the websites must be well managed.

Faculty :

There are enough faculty members to teach the students and they are experts in there fields. they are very interactive wiwth each student and guide us through our problems. They are available throughout the day and if not we cant whatsapp them directly . They replied back with the solutions.

A glimpse into Kolhapur Institute of technology.

Placement Experience:

The eligibility for campus placements in Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) typically starts from the pre-final year, which is usually the 6th semester. There are very named tech companies which visit to the college like TCS,WIPRO,etc. Average package offered is around 6 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed in placement drive is 90%.

I choose this course because it is very interesting course. Iam interested in this course. It is very easy to understand. There are two semesters in a year.
