Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is up to date with the necessary industrial standards and the number of credits assigned to each course is pretty much satisfactory. Also the presence of proper labs and trained lab assistants aids in a student's academic prosperity.

Class Size : 75Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The college provides a ton of internship opportunities. Every year there are multiple students who get internships and placements in one of the biggest companies like Googl, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fee here in Manipal is on the higher side. For four years of BTech it's around 20 to 30 lakhs depending on the branch. Although the college provides scholarships, the number of seats is very limited and a little difficult to get.

Campus Life :

The campus life Manipal provides is undeniably amazing. The Revels and Tech Tatva being the annual cultural and technical fests of the college draws the attention of the masses and brings all of manipal together.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are by far one of the best. The rooms are comfortable and there are a number of varieties one can choose from. The housekeeping facilities are pretty good and work their recent introduction of "house keeping on demand" we can now book our slots as to when we want our room to be cleaned.

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

Admission :

The admission process was very smooth. I had to write the MET which is the Manipal Entrance Test. All the test scores and ranks were transparent and based on ranks we were allotted our branches. After that we were supposed to pay the necessary fees and submit the hard copy of some documents in person a few days before the start of the academic routine.

Faculty :

The faculty here in my college are well trained and have proper knowledge in their respective domains. Also they encourage us to get involved in research works. This helps to maintain a good academic environment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The cybersecurity curriculum in Dsu is designed to provide both theoretical foundations and practical experience in key areas such has security, linus and other related topics . With labs and workshops we get hands on experience on real world problems which help us during placement and internship . The faculty and the curriculum are up to date and help us learn the tools which are currently needed. Cybersecurity isn't just about IT it's also related to law(cybercrime laws),business(risk management) so introducing courses related to them can help students In cybersecurity certification is important so helping students to prepare for certification such has cissp, CompTIA and others can help students a lot Coming to the exams it's not that stressful we will have a month or two to prepare and me personally think 1 week is enough to clear it

Placement Experience:

Over 60% of students got placed this year. We have a very supportive place we get a placement of placement opportunities from the final year and the sixth seven semester as well Top companies such as Accenture, TCS amaedus Schneider electric Siemens JSW, Wipro Z scaler. The highest package was given by Z scaler of 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is fivelakhs.

Inside out of Presidency university

Placement Experience:

The placements at presidency university offers is average, the placements percentage is high but the packages are low, the highest was around 13L per Annum and average of around 3L per annum. Students are eligible for placements in third year, while having many opportunities for internships during the period of 4 years. There are various companies that visit our college for placements such as shell, tech Mahindra, dell, capgemini, and many more companies. My plan after degree is get a high paying job either through placements or self searched interviews
