- Placements are good in this college if you want to go in non core and you hustle for coding then surely you will get good placements.
- The fees and accomodation cost for living in Raipur are bit less and because of low fees its comfortable to pay it.
Dislikes
- Small campus area than many of the other NITs
- No availability of hostels for all the students
Course Curriculum Overview :
As my branch is Electronics and Communication its bit difficult and department is also strict. You will get a lot of time in first year but not from second year. But the profit of this branch is you can go in core as well as in tech field as per your interest. Placemnts are also good in this particular branch. You will get real world appl if want to go in non core. course can be improved by including some more practical knowledge. Exams are taken semesterwise twice in 6 months
Internships Opportunities :
The companies offering Internships on campus in our college are Adobe , AMAZON, DBOI, Samsung, Texas Instruments, Visa etc and most of these companies offer a stipend greater than 30K per month which is descent one.
Placement Experience :
students get placements in their 5th sem of college life various big tech companies visit our college like Adobe, AMAZON, MICROSOFT, Deutche Bank of India,etc and other companies like Samsung Visa also hire Average package varie sfrom company to Company and ranges from 10 lpa to 80 lpa around 80 % students get placed in my branch
Fees and Financial Aid :
No tuition fee increase is seen uptill now the complete cost of eduation including mess food hostel college etc will be around 5 lakhs for me scholarships offered here are all central and state scholarships and some priavate scholarships the placement record for last year was around 14 lakhs for my course
Campus Life :
The annua; cultural fest is Eclectica which is the largest cultural in Central India the tech fest name is AAVARTAN held by Team Technocracy library is descent ad you will get all books regarding your syllabus in it sports facilities are not that good yeah there are many clubs and commities in college where you can explore yourself
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are limited here. for first year you will get hostels according to your JEE MAIN rank. Categories are considered for hostel allocation from second year its a bit difficult to get hostel as it based on your ODD SEM CPI you will get rented rooms in DDU Kota etc which arounf college in 3km radius
Admission :
The admission in National Institute of Technology is goy on the basis of JEE mains rank. THe counselling is done via JOSAA counselling process. The fees of the college varies according to your category and th family income. For me because of family income less than 100000 it was 15600 for first year and later on it is 10500. Reservation is given for all the categories nationwide(accepted nationally). the exams are taken in semesterwiese mode. Initially mid semester exam and then end semester exams are taken. The difficulty level of exams is on moderate side. You have to hustle here for sustaining in branches like ECE are lil bit strict and departments are also strict.The other benefit that you can avail rather than your fees is you can get your desired branch on rank lower than that of general category. Here the home state quota students get more advantage because there is too less competition in Chhattisgarh for entrance exams like JEE MAIN and they have reservation of 50 percent.
