Course Curriculum Overview :

Nit kurukshetra is one of the top colleges in nit. I am in ECE Branch which has two benefits - Firstly student can enter into tech field and well as in core fields .But from the year 2023 , new branches like Mathematics and computing and AIML has beaten Ece branch. But ECE is evergreen as it provides very much opportunities

Class Size : 71Course Fees : INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience :

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Due to recession this year the placement are quite low, but by the way placements are quite impressive. The avg package is 20 lakh and highest goes around 1.25 crore in year 2022

Fees and Financial Aid :

I am from Madhya pradesh , so Madhya pradesh medhavi chatra yojna is a scholarship program by the government of MP, Which give full four year fees of the student and also there are various cultural clubs which enhances one personality and also college has very reputed societies also.

Campus Life :

There are two fest named TECHSPARDHA AND CONFLUENCE. TECHSPARDHA is a tech event , and confluence is cultural event. All the classrooms are equipped with air conditioners and high tech digital boards .

Hostel Facilities :

There are total 10 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel . H1 H2 H3 are 60 yr old hostel , so they are little bit old fashioned. But all other hostel are well built and also mess facilities are quite good .

Hostel Fee : INR 4800 per year

Admission :

We have to clear jee mains to enter into such prestigious college like NITs. Around 11 lakh students give jee main paper, and only 1% of students enter into NITs. Jee main paper is held twice every year which is of 300 marks. Application form of jee main paper is on NTA website. The exam is quite easy nowadays but the huge number of students giving this examination is increasing the competition.

Less crowded college, but not the best college life and placements

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible in 3rd year for internships. However there are not much internship opportunity in the college. Only about 20-30 student get an internship on campus. Average stipend is around 20k.some companies visited are hero, Oyo rooms, mygate, service now etc. average package is around 8.5 lakhs and highest is 36Lakhs. My plans after degree is do to a start-up

In btech after 6th sem you are eligible for campus placements which means just in the start of your last year you are eligible. Not so many companies come here there are a few the highest package offered till now is 15 lpa. Only 55 to 60% students are placed

The Northcap University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I knew a few people in the same course and they liked it and it aligned with my future plans as well. The course curriculum is shifting more towards placement oriented study and focusing more on increasing the placement statistics of the college. The area for improvement is focusing more on problem solving than cramming the theory to get good grades. There are exams every 2 months and the end semester exams are quite hard to crack if not prepared well and they cover up 35% of the total weightage.
