- there are lacs of books in library and library timing
- i do not like the food and water facilities available in hostel
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum for a computer science student is good. The lab facilities are also good. The faculty members are supportive and interactive. in the lab practices, we learn how we can solve real-world problems.
Internships Opportunities :
in iiit Kalyani, the intership facilities are available after the 6th semester (offline). There are many companies that provide intership and give stipends to students. And college notifies students of summer interships which are provided by the college in collaboration with other companies.
Placement Experience :
the placement record is good enough throughout the year. there are many companies visited just as jio, Infosys,wipro, etc. the highest package is 27 LPA(on campus) and 46 LPA (off campus). almost 85 percent of students got placements this year.
Fees and Financial Aid :
In my knowledge tution fee is fix but the hostel fee may be rise by 10% in every semester. the actual tution fee is 93400 per semester and the hostel fee is 54200. there are no specific scholarships provided by the institute but the central government and state government scholarships are available in the institute, you can apply for those scholarships.for example MMVY scholarship for Madhyapradesh students.NSP scholarship by central government and other states scholarship. and There are many scholarships for st-sc students. the total cost of my btech course is around 12.5 lacs.
Campus Life :
In the permanent campus of iiit Kalyani is under construction. We live in a temporary hostel and college building which is good enough but some difficulties we face as a student. There are game facilities is available such as football, cricket, and badminton. In the academic building there is one library. The classrooms are good and the technologies wifi are good. there is a gymkhana which is a social group.
Hostel Facilities :
the hostel facilitis is poor becauce of lack of permanent hostel.there are 3 and 5 seater rooms in hostel.the water facilities is average.food provide by mess is average. in outside of college campus in distace of 500-1000 meters there are many pg available
Admission :
This college takes admissions through JOSAA and CSAB counseling. after the Jee mains examination every year josaa conducts india counseling for admissions in it, nit and iiits. on the behalf of cut-off you can get admission to IIIT Kalyani. After Josaa and csab counseling college provide an admission form on their website you can go there and fill out the form. college also provide all the details and fees structure and dates of physical reporting and online reporting. you can do physical as well as online reporting. in my openion if you want to take admission in iiit kalayni you must be crack jee mains examination atleast above than 97 percentile if you are a general student.if you are a obc or gen ews this may be above than 96.5 percentile. In my experience this is best college for your future.
