I have provided all the opinion in my point of view and I love my college very much

Dislikes

  • The curriculum needs and overall upgrade as it's more depends on theory more than a practicals as companies nowadays require more practical experience and on textbook knowledge.
  • This is not 24hr campus and we have limited time to access labs and libraries

Course Curriculum Overview :

Electronics and communication engineering is one of the best course in our college and has greater placement oppurchunities in both hardware and software fields. Basically the course takes four years to complete and has two semester per year. we have different labs in each semester which gives us the idea about both hardware and software related aspects. The difficulty of the exams is of moderate level, if we fail in one exam we have the chance to write supplementary exam with our junior students. We do have courses projects in sixth semester which helps to increase the knowledge about different components. We are also provided with industrial visits in each semester. The things to get improved are lack of guidance about placements and most of the things that we learn in the entire academic years are just getting useless

Placement Experience :

From 6th semester one is eligible for campus placement.More than 200 + companies have visited the college during the last 5 years and a provided placement for about 1500 + include Amazon, Google, Texas instrimination, Shobha construction, saint gobain, saying government etc our college has offered highest package of about 33 lakh per annum for the ECE department. Average package provided is 6 lakhs for annum,. My plan is to get placed in a good company but even if I am not able to get into this course, this course provide opportunity as one can purse you highest

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fee structure of the college is so fine. We do have to pay seven thousand rupees per semester and are also provided with various scholarships. There are different financial assistance cell like the cet alumni cell which provides us the financial help for those who are eligible. SC/ST students, they don't have to pay the fees, they are exempted from paying fees, these category students also receive e-Grantz as the scholarship which is received from the state government. There are also campus employment opportunities. Students are also provided with good internship opportunities, which offer stipends.

Campus Life :

The two main set of a colleges are Drishti and Dhwani is the technical first conducted by the college every year which include workshop competition hackathons, expo etc.Dhwani is the is the cultural fest of a college which help us to showcase the talents of each student as it includes lots of events with exciting prices technical and department library are available in the college, extra curricular activities include and indoor and outgoing there are various students club like IEEE, IEDC, ASME, ASCE, tinker hub, CETALKS.

Admission :

For the eligibility we need to pass 12th grade in science stream then we need to crack KEAM exam which is the entrance exam. All the informations and notifications are available in Cee website. The exam mainly comprises of two papers which are physics-chemistry and maths. The candidate should clear both papers with minimum marks, basically the difficulty of the exam is moderate level. The major drawback for this scheme is the time lag between the publishment of exam results and the slow admission process.

The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students. The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.

There are many programs to improve our placement capabilities. These programs provide spoken English classes and PMKVY Yojana classes. S6 and S7 students have the opportunity to attend placement sessions. The average package that the companies usually provide is 200,000 per annum. Usually, 10-15 students get placed in the first session, and the rest will be considered in the other upcoming sessions. I'm planning to do ethical hacking course after the degree
