I liked the cultural aspect of my college

Course Curriculum Overview :

I did not like the part where I had to endorse in engineering drawings,I found out that I have no talent or interest for it whatsoever,so I chose electrical because of its focus on logic and comprehension

Class Size : 72Course Fees : INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placements in my college are very good but comparing the previous years placement opportunities are very low,but still there are opportunities and the college does it's very best in providing them with utmost quality

Fees and Financial Aid :

In my curriculum,I had fee namely tution fee which is about 6000 per semester and we will have an examination fee for each respective semester.There will also be infrequent sports and arts fee accompanied with others

Campus Life :

I was in the COVID batch,my first year life started with a pause as I only had one month of class due to dismissal of classes due to medical and safety reasons.But the rest of the three years was memorable

Hostel Facilities :

I share my room with 2 friends and we have rented an entire fraction of a building for with my friends and we named it Bolivia,we have a rent of 16000 rupees namely and we share it by 8 people so 2000 each every month

Hostel Fee : INR 24000 per year

Admission :

I took keam entrance exams and i have 1441 rank,I did not avail any reservation merits for my admission,exams are actually not that tough if u put in even minimum hours of study per day required as a engineering student

CUSAT Cochin campus- best college life you can get in kerala

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

My College Life at FISAT

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.
