I like my department. The HOD is quite helpful in every matter, whether it's professional or persoanl he helps out quite a lot.
College infrastructure is decent. There's some work going on regarding that. In here learning is quite exciting(for me of course).

I think the subject oriented lessons in the syllabus are quite less.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course induces the practice of using computer in the biological field. Biological datas are retrieved and used for the development of biological aspects. The drawbacks are there are few in-hand experiences when compared to the theory classes.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fees are quite moderate,i.e, 30k per semester. It includes tuition fees, exam fees, id card fees etc. So quite affordable if i say. Regarding scholarship, there are some scholarship for sc/st category students. And odisha government is giving nua-o scholarship, but some department of self- financing are excluded from that.

Campus Life :

I will he honest here. Students don't get an annual fest here. The two functions that happes are tye freshers and farewell only. Some sports tournaments are held frequently though. Classrooms are decent(not that good). There are some clubs for NCC and NSS.

Admission :

There was no entrance exam the year i got admission in the course. But after the year i got admission there's an entrance exam conducted for the students. This exam is held on September every year. Questions are quite moderated. 10-15 seats are reserved for sc/st category from the total seats of 60.

There is a no such campus placements in our college. But you surely get the prepare about some of the other government examinations. But some cell financing courses like in the ITM and MCAd department they have tie up with some big companies so the student may get packages of to 10 LPA year.

3 years of greenery

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was preparing for medical exams but I couldnt get through so I joined in zoology but I dont regret it now. The course curriculum was really good and helpful as it taught alot which I have applied in my PhD career as I have learned alot of techniques from the University. Some subjects need more focus as the ones which are in need right now. Those subjects should be taught appropriately and more focus should be put on student career development.
