- I like the infrastructure of the university like the classes, roads.
- We have great library and labs for students.
Dislikes
- Hostels are bad. The sanitation is not done regularly and lack of many facilities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is good. The teachers teaches us all the coursework very well. The adminstration tries their best to include the most relevant topics into the curriculum, but not all the times it is successful. The exams are good and can be given with good amount of preparation. The labs are not that great so the practical knowledge we can get is limited. So the real world applications are just taught and not implemented by the students.
Placement Experience :
The campus placements are good in MANIT. As the campus is a university of national importance the companies show teir interest during the campus placement times. The average package for Electronics and Communications is Rs. 19,00,000/- per annum for the 2022 placement season. My plans are to crack CAT and apply for MBA in any of the top buisiness school in India.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The fees is based on the category of the students. The fee structure is well balanced based on the students family income. We can get scholarships through many ways. NSP (National Scholarship Portal) is one of those ways. The campus employment is not given to the students from undergraduation. The tution fee for me is Rs. 69,000/- per semester i.e, Rs. 1,38,000/- per annum as I am from the General category with income category greater than 5 laksh per annum.
Campus Life :
The overall campus life is great in my university. The facilities are great like great library, classes, roads and greenary and vending machines etc.. The hostels are not that great and are generally termed as bad due to the lack of faciliites for the hostel students. The fests in the college are conducted one per semester. Other events are also held meanwhile. The student societies and clubs are very active and help the student grow in all aspects. The sports facilities are not that great. The grounds are not availabe and no tracks for athlete enthusiasts.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels are very bad for boys. The mess food is also very bad. The basic facilities like drinking water and sanitation also lacks. The maintainance is very bad. The washrooms are not sanitized so is the mess and the kitchenware. The only positive side is the internet servies provided and sometimes they also cause minor problems with slow speed and connectivity problems.
Admission :
The admission process is easy and simple. All we have to do is apply for joint entrance exam JEE and score good marks in that examination. The exam is generally conducted twice in an academic year. You have to work hard for the exam and get percentile in both the attempts out of which the best one is considered for the rankings. We can get the college based on our ranks in the jossa seat allocation. There are resrvations available based on the eligibility. You can look up the reservations in the site. The admission process is easy to follow.
