  • The proffesors of ECE and placements they are a bit low.

Course Curriculum Overview :

In ECE the course is really hard but interseting. It covers vast topics from Basic ECE to Micro Proccessors and Analog Communications. There are a few hard subjects in this branch. PRP, AComm, etc. The labs are really well equipped and teachers are open for projects.

Class Size : 130Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Off campus mainly, but 8+ cgpa is required for on campus interships, companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian etc. come for intership and many get PPO too. Although maintaining the CGPA is like really hard in Ece

Placement Experience :

Placements were good before covid. Then it detoriated a little. CSE, ECE, EEE, MECH, PROD have the placements mainly others have little low placements. After getting the degree I plan to go for MBA. Highest pakage was 1 CPA lowest being 2 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid :

16,00000 is the total fee amount. Each semester about 1.5 - 2.5 lakhs. Mess fee is 25000 per sem. The hostel food is alright. There is a GP Birla scholarship based on :- Merit, Compassionate Grounds, Staff Ward and many other grounds. The clubs in the college are amazing.

Campus Life :

The campus life is really cool. There is a 780 acre campus, with big trees and rivers running around it. There are several hangout spots like Pahan, Laxmi, Chotu, Mehak, Sharma, etc. There are also several clubs both technical and cultural.

Hostel Facilities :

They give you double sharing rooms which are well suited for 2 people and the slerks and peons in the hostel are really friendly and the mess food is a bit average . But there are many restaurants that deliver to the hostel too

Hostel Fee : INR 25000 per year

Admission :

My rank was 27910. Other State General. Jee Main 2022. In each semester there are 2 quizzes of 10 marks each and midsem of 25 marks and endsem of 50 marks. 5 marks for assignment. The admission process takes place in the CAT Hall of the college. Rooms ar alloted the same day as that of admissions. Mostly BTECH students are hostellers.

Actually after you qualify for your jee exams after this you think who is the better collage and after this for this college which is better branch for your interest but after jee not so much intrest about branches feels like every branch is same for me Than u choose your brach to see the packages . College placements are not good but now a day it is getting better year by year. 10 to 20 percent of students get placement rest students go for the off campus Placement.My plan is to clear gate exam .

Everything about NIT Jamshedpur

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester beginning only top companies start visiting the campus. All top IT companies visit the college. CSE branch has an average of 27 lpa with around 95% placements. The core branch also has very good placements. The MME branch and PIE branch has the best placements compared to every NITs. I am preparing for UPSC ESE. On an average around 97% students gets placed. Lowest package is 6.5 lpa and the highest is 82.5 lpa by Atlassian offered to 5 students of CSE, ECE and EE.
