Course Curriculum Overview :
Computer science was the most dominant course and I personally felt that the cs field was overflowing with too many enrollments. Mechanical is a evergreen field ensuring decent placements in core as well as IT fields
Fees and Financial Aid :
The campus provides so many opportunities through clubs and events. VIT also hosts guest lectures, seminar and workshop which might be helpfull in developing skills. Compared to other tier 2 colleges, I feel that VIT is much affordable considering the wide range of opportunities it provides and the amazing infrastructure that supports it. Considering mechanical field, VIT has a lot of expensive equipments that can be used free of cost for research and educational purposes.
Campus Life :
Campus life is the best in VIT. You get to meet people from all over India and even from abroad. VIT has a very welcoming attitude that assists the student to explore various fields and gain knowledge. VIT hosts various sports event and other extra curricular events that allows us to express our talents
Admission :
I have taken Btech in mechanical engineering from VIT chennai. The admission process was through VITEE entrance exam where I scored 45k rank. The exam difficulty was moderate but the competition was quite high.
