Course Curriculum Overview :

Electronics and communication is quite an interesting field and has great scope in future. We have regular labs to give us practical knowledge which prepares us for field work.The teachers teach us with their best ability and we also take help from youtube for better understanding.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 157200 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies visit our campus , take exams , interviews and offer opportunities for the students. During internship time, projects can also be made by students by their choice. Different internships give different kinds of experience and are very helpful for placements .

Placement Experience :

Normally placements happen at the end of 6th semester. Companies such as Microsoft, Google etc visit our campus and offer internship opportunities . Core placements are what I would to aim in future..

Fees and Financial Aid :

The tuition fee is decided on the basis of family income . The fee is as per the salaries like below 5 lakh , above 5 lakh , below 1 lakh etc. Since it a government college , the fee is quite low as compared to private colleges . Moreover scholarships and incentives are always available as per Academic performance.

Campus Life :

Confluence and techspardha are the cultural and technical fests respectively. There are quite refreshing amid the Academic chaos. There are many games , performances, live concerts that happen during these fests and are very fun. The campus life is good, peaceful but sometimes boring.

Hostel Facilities :

Thr hostels are really well maintained, serve good food and the staff is very helpful. The rooms are spacious and well ventilated . We can decorate as per our wishes. We can also celebrate festivals here .

Hostel Fee : INR 70000 per year

Admission :

Admissions in NIT KURUKSHETRA Btech courses are conducted via JEE MAINS Examination. Application forms are available on the NTA site as well as the jee mains site. There is 27 percent reservation for OBC candidates . The exams are conducted twice a year in the months on January and February with moderate difficulty level of maths, physics and chemistry .The admission process is quite easy when thecandidates follow the guidelines properly .

Less crowded college, but not the best college life and placements

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible in 3rd year for internships. However there are not much internship opportunity in the college. Only about 20-30 student get an internship on campus. Average stipend is around 20k.some companies visited are hero, Oyo rooms, mygate, service now etc. average package is around 8.5 lakhs and highest is 36Lakhs. My plans after degree is do to a start-up

In btech after 6th sem you are eligible for campus placements which means just in the start of your last year you are eligible. Not so many companies come here there are a few the highest package offered till now is 15 lpa. Only 55 to 60% students are placed

The Northcap University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I knew a few people in the same course and they liked it and it aligned with my future plans as well. The course curriculum is shifting more towards placement oriented study and focusing more on increasing the placement statistics of the college. The area for improvement is focusing more on problem solving than cramming the theory to get good grades. There are exams every 2 months and the end semester exams are quite hard to crack if not prepared well and they cover up 35% of the total weightage.
