Course Curriculum Overview :
B.Tech course is an interesting course which helps us in our life in may expects. The course prepares us very well for real world applications and for any further academic pursuits. The exams are conducted thrice per semester and difficulty level varies from medium to hard
Internships Opportunities :
Many companies gives internship offers to the students, many are unpaid but some of them are paid. Students can go for internship in their holidays and can work for their projects and gain experience.
Placement Experience :
The students become eligible for placement from 6th semester. A large number of companies such as Google, Amazon, TCS, Infosys and many other MNC's visit the campus for placement. The highest package varies from 80 lakhs to 1Cr and may even go above 1 Cr. Average package is about 12-14 lakhs as there are large number of students and a large variety of branches. More than 90% of students get placement.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The tution fees is divided into five parts based on the rank achieved by the student in the entrance examination. The tution fees remains same throughout the college tenure but there is some hike in hostel fees. The complete cost is around 20 lakhs. Scholarship is provided to the students who secured under 1000 rank.
Campus Life :
There are two major fests, Riviera, the cultural and sports fest and Gravitas, the tech fest. Riviera is held in feb-march and gravitas is held in October. A large range of books and journals are available in the library. Facilities are very nice in the classrooms and laboratories. Sports and extracurricular activities provided by the college are excellent. There is a large number of student clubs working in the college which have a great impact on student's life.
Hostel Facilities :
There are two types of rooms Ac and Non-Ac. Non Ac rooms have fans and Ac rooms have both fans and Ac. All the rooms are provided with cupboard, shelves, study table and chair for each student and mirrors. The meal quality is quite good. The hostel can be registered through the online portal of VIT.
Admission :
To be eligible you have to score 75% or above in 12th boards. And have to pass the entrance examination VITEEE. The application form is available on the college website vit.ac.in There is no reservation criteria. The exam is conducted once per year.
