- In this college people form all over the country come here to study , I was able to make friends from every state . I got a chance to improve my communication skills.
- The sports complex here is very big. I play volleyball everyday in the college. Learned to play table tennis. Fests are conducted every year .Lot to learn
Dislikes
- There was a ragging culture at the start. But it got demolished . Seniors will not help you in the first year.
- Mess food is sometimes very bad . In first year rooms were very small. All books are not available in the library. Library is not opened 24X7
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course due to my interest in Electronics since I was in school. I dont think our curriculum prepared for the real world applications in an efficient manner, In this course we are taught theory in class but when it comes to practical plabs are little weaker. But a positive point is our college is trying to improve the syllabus and labs in the upcoming year in keeping view of drastic Era of AI . Teaching methods can be improved by using real world examples. Not only completing the syllabus but planting innovative thoughts in the minds of students. Old methods which are no longer used in electronics should be removed. We should be taught the things relevant in the market and help you in the future.Three tests per subject are conducted every semester. Mini and Mid consists of 10,20 marks respectively which are little easier while the End term (60 marks) is tough as you have to revise the total syllabus. 10 marks are for attendance and assignment.
Internships Opportunities :
Many colleges for the internship opputtunities in 5th as well as 7th semester. JP morgan visits very early with a stipend of 70,000 per month , Microsoft with stipend of 1,25,000 per month, Google with 1Lakh per month, Salesforce 1 Lakh per month,Atlassian with 1 lakh per month, Texas instruments, Goldmann sachs, Cisco with 80,000 per month . Bajaj,Hero and placewit with stipend of 30,000 per month. Mostly companies prefer projects with development, Machine learning,Data science and AI
Placement Experience :
From fifth semester you will able to sit for Internships offered by the comanies visiting the college. But the chance of getting internship is tough. Maximum of 5-10% from each branch are selecte for internship. The companies start visiting the college for placements in the 7th semester. You should take tips and help from seniors related to the preparation of placements in the college. Generally 140+ comanies visit for the placements every year and 173+ offers were made . Highesh package is offered by Atlassian in 2022 for 82 LPA for SDE profile. Average package is around 13LPA for the year 2022. In the year 2022 83% of students were placed . I plan to work in an MNC after getting the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Tution fee hike is nearly 3-5% every year. Tution fee is 27610 rupees per semester for canditates of OBC and General category who have family income between 1 lakh and 5 Lakhs per year . But if your income is below 1 Lakh there is no tution fee. If your family income is above 5 lakhs per year you tution fee will be 69000 . But if you belong to the SC/ST category ther is no tution fee. Complete cost of education if you are OBC category between 1-Lakh and 5 Lakh income tution fee 27610 and hostel fee is 18000 and mess fee is 12000 per semester. If you are from Madhya pradesh you can avail MMVY scholarship, NSP scholarship is available for students across India. There is No employment for students before 3rd year. In third you can participate in Internship and crack companies.
Campus Life :
There are usually 3 fests every year. Technosearch - It is mainly focused on robotics, innovations in mechanical, Electrical and seminars are held for students interested in Coding , technology etc. E CELL - Conducts a fest which is mainly focused on startups and Entrepreneurship. Maffick - This is a cultural fest of Manit where you can dance programs,competitions etc this is best . You may not get all the books in library . But the books are also available online. Beforehand you can ask your professor for important books in library for the course as there are few books available. Sports campus is very vast. Internit NIT as well as IntraNIT competitions are held every year for chess,volleyball,BasketBall, Badminton,Football,Table tennis etc. There are many clubs in the college, Ecell for entrepreneurship, Robotics club, Vision - for core knowledge,Roobaroo-For cultural activities.These clubs help you to improve your skills as well as help you to express you skills in front of students
Hostel Facilities :
In first year we are accomadated in single room with 3 people which becomes a little suffocated . But in second year you are alloted hostels according to your CGPA it is good have a high CGPA if you want to live in a better hostel. Meal quality is average but ususally the breakfast is south Indian which is good. In first year usually we can form mess committee of students to decide mess menu .The details will be provided by the college itself. You can search in telegram there are few groups to help you in this procedure. Hostel fee is 15000 per semester in 1st year in 2nd year if you want only double accomodation then it will be 17500 per semester , Mess fee will be 24000 per year generally. The hostels are located in a radius 600m from the college. It may take 10-15 min to walk from hostel to college. Purchasing a bicycle is highly recommended
Admission :
Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology is a Institute of National Importance. For Enrolling into this college we should write Jee-Main Examination conducted by NTA every year. I got 97.94 precentile in the Jee main Exam with rank 21960 . After the results have been declared Josaa conducts Counselling .I regularly checked JOSAA website for counselling dates , I took help of Youtube channels like Mathematically inclined as well .I paid the counselling fee and participated in the counselling. In Josaa I got a seat in NIT patna ECE . I was not very inclined to pursue my graduation in Patna.So I participated in CSAB counselling, in CSAB I got seat in NIT Bhopal ECE. I belong to OBC category so I got a seat in 97.9 precentile but if you belong to general category you may have to score more . In 2021 , 4 JEE-Mains attempts were there with gap of 1 month each. Second attempt was tougher compared to other attempts. The website should be maintained to handle traffic during applications
