  • Hostel food is not so good here. They are not providing tasty food.
  • Infrastructure is also not so good. Because of it out nit is having very low rank compared to some other nuts

Course Curriculum Overview :

As expected courses are moderate with respect to the curriculum.To strengthen ourselves in terms of placements our college provides good courses. We get support from the faculty also but ultimately it depends on us that we should study and work hard.

Class Size : 115Course Fees : INR 16670 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are started from 3rd year after end semester. Our college has tough competition regarding placements.8 CGPA is minimum for appearing in placement sessions and internal training cell is headed by dr.jitendra raut. Companies like Deloitte,Wipro limited visit our college

Placement Experience :

Placements are moderate in our college. Placements are top in IT,CSE and Mining branches.IT and CSE have good average packages around 16 lakhs. And our nit is famous for mining branch and it has quite good package.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Fee is to be paid for both semesters according to the category of the respective student.Income above 8 lakhs should be paid 72000 per student.For below 5 lakhs around 30000 and below one lakh around 8000 is to be paid. Scholarships are based on exams or based on categories.

Campus Life :

Campus Life is moderate in NIT. It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.But according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus Life too.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel accommodation is based on the category rank in JEE mains first year.But from second year or is based on the cgpa achieved in the first year. In this also they will see the category and the place where a student belong to.

Hostel Fee : INR 54000 per year

Admission :

I got the admission through JEE MAINS examination conducted by NTA. To get an admission into NIT we require to get cutoff percentage or marks in JEE MAINS examination. I got 24969 rank in JEE mains and my category rank is 6378. Admission requires submission of documents in the respective college we have alloted to be admitted through JOSAA counselling or we can also go through a special round CSAB.

The campus placements are decent, average package is somewhere around 10-11 LPA and lowest around 4 LPA where are the highest is around 65 LPA. around 70% of students get placed through campus placement. As this is an NIT, there are many intership opportunity and stipend varis from 10,000-35,000 per month. Placement Experience:

Collage provides the best placements in the whole chattishgar, it is one of the few collages in the whole country which have a dedicated drone learning ecosystem. In the 2020-2024 session averge placement is around 11.6 LPA, with the higest pakage of 34LPA and lowest of 3.6LPA.
