College has a good environment and with full of greenery and serene beauty.
Faculty are very patient in understanding students from various backgrounds and various mentalities.

Sometimes the restrictions regarding college entry time are not that student friendly.
Late night canteens are not available which is a problem.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose ece branch because I had a specific interest on Electronics since beginning of my intermediate. In my college there is around 1:25 ratio of professors and students.All the faculty have high qualifications from some of the best colleges in india.

Course Fees : INR 20000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Our college gets numerous companies for giving placement offers such as GoldManSacs , Amazon AMD , Intel , etc. Placements also very good.Average package of ECE is around 11.8Lakhs.And overall average package is around 10LPA.

Placement Experience :

Placements of colleger are good.We have a decent percentage of 70 percent students getting jobs in placement.Many more students also go into research field which makes our college NIRF innovation rank 8th. I am planning to do job or thinking of going towards research after my tech.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Generally the fees hike is not that high is central government funded colleges. Sometimes it is almost zero high of fees for two to three consecutive batches. Large number of scholarships are available for students based on various categories.

Campus Life :

Our annual fests are Vashist and Samgatha and also we have a cultural week known as Meraki.Fests are highly funded one of our sponsors is CSK team.All classes have very good equipment perfect speakers and good ventilation.And also there are numerous clubs and also my college is one of the best IIITS in sports comparison.

Hostel Facilities :

We have three boys hostel named Jasmine Annex,Ashwatha and Ashoka.Usually first year boys stay at Jasmine to avoid ragging.Girls have a separate hostel named as Jasmine. Meals is some what ok but sometimes there are quite a bit problems with mess food.

Admission :

In jee mains examination cut off for all subjects should be crossed and overall percentile should be passed.After that passed on how much percentile we get and what options we keep in counselling we get a college and branch.

Interview Experience :

I had to clear jee mains with 96.79 percentile in which almost 12 lakh students competed.There was no interview to join in my college.For clearing jee mains my college Thirumala had helped me a lot.They provided me some of the best faculty and textbooks to care of my preparation.

this is where they lie the most , they claim to have placement records of 97% but in reality its just 10%. because of huge student crowd , placing everyone is one big task. the company that comes here for hiring are mostly startups and some lesser known company . branches like mechanical and EEE have it even more difficult time to get placement.the highest package of over college is of 16 lakhs .

At VIT Chennai, students become eligible for campus placements starting from their 6th semester, with placement training beginning in the 5th semester. Top companies or recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, PayPal, Bosch, Accenture, and Intel, among others. In 2023, over 900 companies participated across VIT campuses, making more than 12,000 offers. The highest package offered was ?1.02 crore per annum by a global recruiter, while the average package for core placements ranged between ?6-7 LPA, with Super Dream offers exceeding ?25 LPA and Dream offers ranging from ?10-15 LPA. Around 90% of eligible students get placed, with profiles offered in software development, consulting, analytics, and core engineering. After completing the degree, students often pursue roles in top companies, higher studies, or entrepreneurial ventures.
