Remarks :
PSIT, Kanpur in overall I can say that is the best place to learn and enhance your skills, the college provides you exposure to the corporate world, the faculty and the trainers are highly trained mostly of IIT and IIM , infrastructure is best in class with a fully AC campus, and a world-class auditorium with a capacity of 1400 people
Entrance Preview :
I took admission in 2015 through counseling of JEE Mains, I score 148 marks so I easily got the admission. As I am the resident of Kanpur , so i knew about the college and its facilities, that's the reason why I posted this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
The institute is affiliated to AKTU , Lucknow formerly known as UPTU ,the institute follow the syllabus recommended by the university, but also adds technical training and corporate training lectures which are held throughout the course till placement
Internships Opportunities :
The college provided international and training programme in pre-final year , the selection procedure is based upon a written test and a personal interview, generally the stipend is around 6000Rs~15000Rs depending upon the skills, and interview of the candidate, and the internship is also mandatory in this college.
Placement Experience :
The college provides opportunities, to get placed in big MNC's as Infosys , TCS ,Tech Mahindra , L&T ,Tata Motors , Wajah , Godrej , Erricson these are some companies which come to our college every year , the minnimum package for this year was 3.5L per annum , and the maximum was 11L per annum .Our training and placement cell gives its 100% to provide placement opportunities to the students . Besides the placement college also focuses on enhancing the skills and making students eligible to clear the toughest competitions of our country such as GATE , CAT , IAS .
Fees and Financial Aid :
College provides a scholarship to meritorious students depending upon their ranks in the entrance examination or the marks in the test conducted at the time of admission. The college provides full support to the eligible students to get the fee remuneration and scholarship from the State Society Welfare Board
Campus Life :
The college atmosphere is very good , and the environment of the college is such that if you have that instinct to learn you will surely reach the heights . The labs and workshops are well equipped , our college labs have more than 2500 computers , the infrastructure is an architectural wonder , everything is planned and symmetric
Hostel Facilities :
Our college has both AC and Non AC hostels, the hostel fee for this session is Rs 74000 for Non AC , and Rs 84000 for AC rooms on a double sharing basis .
Alumni/Alumna :
The college has a good alumni base and organizes an annual programme CONNECT, in which alumni are invited to share their experiences and guide the juniors
Admission :
The admission process start after the result of 12th are declared , the admission process is by two ways either you can get the admission by counselling of JEE Mains or UPSEEE , or directly by management quota , for that you have to fill a form and go through an objective test and an interview , based on your score in the test scholarship is also provided
Faculty :
The faculty is highly qualified and what I have noticed in my department and other departments also more than 70% of the professors are IITians , our faculty devotes full concern to the students and is very helpful also and if you want to learn any interdisciplinary topic you can freely consult with the teachers of other departments also.
