Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum consists of all the mandatory subjects and topics to help keep up with the current times and making us more than qualified in the field and the faculty are also very good and highly qualified in terms of education, teaching experience and classes and helps build strong foundation.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 198000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are a lot of internship opportunities provided by VIT and students are updated on the latest available internship opportunities through the student college mail id for students of all branches and years.

Placement Experience :

A total of 2889 offers were made during placements 2023. The highest package offered during VIT Chennai placements 2023 was inr 59 LPA and was made by Krypto. A total of 634 dream offers , 1033 super dream offers were made during placements 2023.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Fees structure varies depending on the rank you get after writing the VITEEE entrance exam. Category 1 is cheapest and Category 5 is the highest fees for each course and it varies from course to course too.

Campus Life :

College life is vibrant with events like Vibrance and TechnoVit and class timetable is flexible and can be customized according to our likes and preferred time slots and faculty from second semester onwards and has plenty of workshops for students of various interests.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is nice with good food and rooms with AC's which keeps the room chilly and cold the entire night and the food served in the mess is of very good quality too accomodating to students from different part of the country.

Hostel Fee : INR 114900 per year

Admission :

The admission was based on VITEEE entrance exam conducted by VIT and the eligibility critieria is minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and you can register for this exam in viteee.vit.ac.in.

this is where they lie the most , they claim to have placement records of 97% but in reality its just 10%. because of huge student crowd , placing everyone is one big task. the company that comes here for hiring are mostly startups and some lesser known company . branches like mechanical and EEE have it even more difficult time to get placement.the highest package of over college is of 16 lakhs .

My experience In VIT Chennai!

Placement Experience:

At VIT Chennai, students become eligible for campus placements starting from their 6th semester, with placement training beginning in the 5th semester. Top companies or recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, PayPal, Bosch, Accenture, and Intel, among others. In 2023, over 900 companies participated across VIT campuses, making more than 12,000 offers. The highest package offered was ?1.02 crore per annum by a global recruiter, while the average package for core placements ranged between ?6-7 LPA, with Super Dream offers exceeding ?25 LPA and Dream offers ranging from ?10-15 LPA. Around 90% of eligible students get placed, with profiles offered in software development, consulting, analytics, and core engineering. After completing the degree, students often pursue roles in top companies, higher studies, or entrepreneurial ventures.
