Remarks :

Osmania medical college is very good in all aspects and if you are in a dilemma about which college to choose,go for osmania medical college undoubtedly.

Entrance Preview :

I entered this college through EAMCET examination. At my time, I secured state 6th rank. Then I had a small dilemma about which college to choose for my MBBS. Then I asked many doctors and my seniors out if which most of them advised Osmania medical college. In MBBS your study will be directly on patients and osmania has surplus number of patients your scope of knowledge about any disease will be no where in comparison with other medical colleges as most of other medical colleges will not have enough number of patients. Best part of my college is that during teaching, each student will be given a patient. in other medical colleges there r not many patients in a group of students will be given a patient) But it is not that easy to secure a seat in osmainia Medical College. You need to be in the real top rankers list in EAMCET Examination.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is well planned and is made to assure every student will get his knowledge.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship. According to my seniors I didn't enter my internship is a tough job at osmania hospital as there will be many many many patients. But you will receive vast knowledge during your Internship.

Placement Experience :

It is mandatory for an MBBS student to complete his PG to set up a clinic of his own or any other plan these days. The knowledge acquired during your education tenure will be enough to Crack through PG entrance during your first attempt.

College Events :

Freshers day will be given within two -three months of start of the academic year. A gratitude party will be given after the results of your final exam to the professors of previous year as a token of gratitude. Vinayaka chaviti will be celebrated in the college every year. Prestigious OSMECON will be held in every September (Osmecon is a national wide medical conference) College fest will be held after osmecon fest has many events and is a good platform to show off your talents. It has sports, photography competetion singing dancing,dj,dhandia etc in which every one is open to participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Osmania medical college is a government medical college which is free of cost. A minimal fee if Rs 16,000 must be paid towards tuition fees. Many scholarships are available for those who cannot afford fees.

Fees and Financial Aid :

I think there is no loan facility not sure but many scholarships are available for those who cannot afford fees.

Campus Life :

Overall experience is very good. There is a good basketball court, volleyball court cricket ground all are well maintained and good. Table Tennis and badminton are also well played in our college.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are good enough with a good and we'll maintained mess. Hostel fees are Rs 250 per month and mess fee is 2300 per month.

Alumni/Alumna :

Every year in the month of December alumini meeda will be held in our college alumni hall. We can interact with many senior doctors during alumni, which will be for 3 days.

Exam Structure :

Exams will be like 3 internal exams out if which one is a prefinal and final exam. College timings will be from 9am to 4pm which is a chilling schedule. A minimum of 75% attendance must be maintained.

Faculty :

Faculty is well experienced and will take good care of students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My choice is based on my future, since my parents are doctors and we have a hospital, so I came into this course. The curriculum is pretty through, it's got pretty much everything covered. Not much room for improvement I feel like. The exams are not super hard, and the frequency is just right, there is enough time to prepare and enough time between two exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a doctor is a very respectful and responsible profession. One deserves the respect after all the years of hardwork. It's not an easy course, it requires many sacrifices and a lot more hardwork day and night. 5 yrs of undergraduation and another 3 yrs of postgraduation. With another 2 years of super-speciality. That is 10 years of one's life. We are dedicated towards patients care and wellbeing. We have a separate thing called "AETCOM" for us to learn the real world applications and hospital postings to have patient doctor interactions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very vast and has a lot to study. During exams time it's very stressful. Even then I chose those course because I love learning about the human body. The curriculum of MBBS is prepared by the NMC. NMC should take care that the curriculum of MBBS is not changed frequently. Depending upon the length of the academic year in the academic calender released by NMC exams are held by the university.
