Remarks :

This college gives a more helping hand in academic side where every faculty members ate very close and they help in everyway they can when we need.

Entrance Preview :

I am an international student from Sri Lanka. By getting a scholarship from ICCR came to study in this college. So India gives alot of opportunities for international students. we were evaluated based on our country higher education status and were interviewed by Indian high Commission and got this seat in engineering. The course im studying is Civil engineering and it was my first choice because i loved to build big apartments hospitals and other stuffs.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My choice was good and i like it. The college gives us a lot of practical based studies and they help in research if we need.

Internships Opportunities :

I dont have a knowledge on this but some get internship from college most of the students have to find and do by ourselves. average 3000 to 5000 per month.

Placement Experience :

only 20% to 40% maybe gets placements highest to Computer science then for the other like Electrical Eng, Mechanical and others. some good companies approach us but im not completely aware of it

College Events :

The big events are Conitia for technical and Shishir for cultural which are the biggest events in a calender year which will include every faculty members and syudents in organizing and getting the event successfully done. other than this some other programs are also held.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

around 90,000 per semester including academic, hostel, food and etc. it is okay but a little bit expensive but for indian students there is a structure where they can get fee remission if they have financial problems so in a way it is good.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel has triple bed, double bed and also single bed rooms. the hostel facilty is good but the cold climate disturbs us alot. The food is somewhat good can give 2.5 out of 5.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes we have a sector in the college website for alumni

Exam Structure :

It makes us abit tired but it was really helping in the end of the day.

Faculty :

The standard of teaching is very good except some but every faculty members holds a Phd post and two or three are acquiring Phd

Good Environment Good culture Good future

Placement Experience:

The campus of the university is overall average. We get packages around 10 LPA but mostly students opt for heigher studies as only 10 -20 percent of students successfully get placed My plans are for masters in technology after the degree . I have appeared for gate and qualified ans i would like to sit for councilling if i get in any good nit or iit

The college is located in main city place in Shillong Meghalaya. The college has decent infrastructure with good facility and machines. But has less no. Of faculties with not so good faculties in some subjects. Overall a great college better then any local college with proper opportunities.

Remarks:

My college experience

Remarks:

The campus being temporary at present, is in a much happier place surrounded by all kinds of restaurants, food corners, necessary shops, good hospitals, banks etc. The negative may be the lack of space in most classrooms, however that turns good as the faculties focus better on each & *** CGPA turns out better***

Remarks:

Overall it is okay. But since there is no permanent campus, it is very hard for us to reach College on time everyday. We have to get up early in the morning to wait for the bus and all. Also, tehre is a limited resources. Our library is too small and labs are also not sufficient.

Remarks:

There are various clubs such as Coding Club,Robotics Club,Literary Club,Photography Clubetc. The worst thing about this college is it has been functioning from temporary campus.The opportunities and facilities are limited for the students because of this. Students have to face hardships staying in hostels aways from college.
