Remarks :
You can only get the college through qualifying jee mains through jossa and csab rounds and you have score a good percentile in jee. The cutoff for general students for jossa will be around 45-47k rank.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The courses and curriculum are similar to other IIITS like you will be a little more engaged and busy with the syllabus than other institutes like NIT and IIT. Faculty and student ratios are quite good, approx 18 students are over 1 faculty. Most of the faculty are iit graduates and also their teaching techniques are similar to other institutes like iit and nit.
Placement Experience :
Placement is improved in recent years, this year's average package is around 11-12 lpa and the highest package is 46 lpa. We are eligible for campus placement in the 5th sem. Many companies visited our campus. Approx 83% of students get placed this year.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The fee for one sem (tuitions+hostle) is about 1,50,000 (since it is based on the PPP model) which is quite high but it is lower than other iiits. The cost of a 4-year B.Tech course is around 12 lakh, but it is worth it over other private institutes also IITs are tier 2 colleges so, you will get better placement opportunities.
Campus Life :
Due to Corona no annual fest and tech fest are conducted as of now, but the institute will organize a huge tech fest which is in talks, so be carefree about that. The library is good like you will get all the books that were taught in the syllabus. Football, volleyball, Kabaddi, Badminton, and Table tennis are some sports the students love to play here. The atmosphere is good.
Hostel Facilities :
One bed, one table, one chair, and one almirah are provided to every student in the hostel. There is 3 or 4 bed in one room. But the rooms are quite spacious so it will not let you feel confused around them. There is a little ground in front of the hostel. Mess is now improved a lot like it used to be 2 or 3 years ago in very bad condition.
