Course Curriculum Overview :
ECE course curriculum at iiit's is updated and the latest. ECE provides opportunities in both the tech and non-tech fields. The faculty-to-student ratio is roughly 1:15. Most of the faculty are Ph.D. scholars, supporting in nature. There are two sessionals exams of 15 marks each and having approx 45 days of gap, and an end semester exam.
Internships Opportunities :
Generally, students from the 7th semester get internship offers. A well-known stipend is offered like a 20k to 80k stipend. Some of the companies offer stipend more than 150k of stipend. It's compulsory for a student to opt for an internship in his BTech program.
Placement Experience :
The placement stats of IIIT Nagpur for 2022-23 is 14.63 total average package of cse and ece branches combined with the highest package of 86lakhs of a student for the ECE branch. The student with no placement offers go for higher studies or they opt for off-campus placements. Around 90 percent s of students get placement offers. I will go for placement provided by the companies from my colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Including all expenses of the hostel, mess, and academic fees it will cost around 15-16lakhs for 4 years of the BTech program at IIIT Nagpur. It is one of the most expensive IITs, Colleges don't provide any kind of scholarship, but we can avail it from our state government if there is any such scheme.
Campus Life :
There are a lot of technical and cultural clubs, but most of them are inactive. Since it is a recently built campus, hence its infrastructure is well maintained and in good condition, campus life is great too. The library is open of you can easily issue the books .there are many active cultural clubs like Cresindo, and Abhivakti.
Hostel Facilities :
There are 4 seater and 2 seater room options available, these are served on a first come first take system. You are given a bed, an Almirah, a table, and a chair in the room. The food quality of the mess is decent, breakfast is the best. The hostel registration and allotment are done along with physical verification. hostel and mess fees are around 150000 for a year. You can rent a room in Butibori for pg, you need to look at Nagpur.
Admission :
First, we need to apply for JEE mains examination then through JOSSA counseling we needed to do our choice filling then according to our rank, choice filling preference, and cutoffs of the colleges of the different courses we are allotted the college and the particular branch. After the allotment of the college we needed to visit the website of that particular college and we needed to fill out the form and submit the documents. All details of the application forms, fees, and dates are updated on the website of the college. After filling out the form and submission of the documents, we have to do physical verification at the institute.
