Best College in NMU. Best Infrastructure college in region.

Entrance Preview :

To be eligible for engineering admission you should give JEE MAINS as well as 12th exam having at least 50%..I had given JEE entrance.Through the score of JEE you'll get admission in this college.I heard more about this college from newspapers and also from my teachers.So I decided to take admission in this college.There is no interview process You should follow CAP (centralized admission process).

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chosen course of BE in Mechanical Engineering.Mechanical engineering is the future of engineering.It is father branch of engineering. Our college has well equipped practical labs and classrooms.Our college provides proper instruments for practical purpose. College also provides research funds for students.

Internships Opportunities :

College has bond with companies that are nearby college.So college sends there students for internship in final year.

Placement Experience :

According to placement our college is an average.About 20-30% students were placed from different branches in last year.Usually multinational companies are not interested ; but companies that hire students they also give good package(about 2.5 LPA to 4LPA).Some of the companies that came here in recent years are Capgemini (MNC),Yippee Technology,Syntel(MNC),L & T infotech(MNC),BOSCH(MNC), etc

College Events :

Many Events are organized by our college like Vasantotsav,FEAST(Festival of Engineers,Authorities,Scientists and Technocrats).

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For General category- 68K OBC category- 32K (50% government scholarship) SC category-7K (90% government government)

Fees and Financial Aid :

50% scholarship for OBC 90% scholarship for SC

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities like Trip,tree plantations,Sports Week,Annual Gathering,Freshers party,Farewell party organized by our college.

Hostel Facilities :

Quality of food is good.Washing machines are provided for washing of clothes of hoteliers.Everyday washrooms are cleaned.There is very clean and hygienic environment in hostel.

Alumni/Alumna :

Every year Alumni meet function is organized by our college.

Faculty :

Faculties are of well profile.And have good teaching experience.(About 7 years an average).Teachers are good.Very helpful in nature.Anyone can go directly to HOD without any hesitation.Teachers gives proper guidance about competitive exams like GATE,IES,TOEFEL etc.

A glimpse into Kolhapur Institute of technology.

Placement Experience:

The eligibility for campus placements in Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) typically starts from the pre-final year, which is usually the 6th semester. There are very named tech companies which visit to the college like TCS,WIPRO,etc. Average package offered is around 6 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed in placement drive is 90%.

I choose this course because it is very interesting course. Iam interested in this course. It is very easy to understand. There are two semesters in a year.
