Course Curriculum Overview :

I had chosen the B tech in Electrical Engineering from this institute because the admission fee is cheaper than other colleges and I only got my trade in this college. The student/teacher ratio is good in the electrical department. Qualification of faculty is generally M Tech and PhD. There are 2 midterms of exams every semester and they are easy to pass due to less syllabus.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 220000 per year

Placement Experience :

In the 8th semester students are eligible for placement. Companies like Byju, Microtech and other tech companies visited for placement. Highest package - 5 Lakh. Only 1-2 per cent of students got placement. My plan is to work in the government sector so I want to prepare for government exams.

Fees and Financial Aid :

There is no hike in the fees when I was studying there for the entire course. The scholarship depends upon the marks in your school time. If you have good marks at your school time then you are eligible for the scholarship.

Campus Life :

Annual fest named as Pegasus and many others are organised in every year. All the books are generally available in the library. Sports facilities are also good as students participate in maximum sports. There are many societies in college i.e., civil society, and electrical society. etc. which is organised by students.

Admission :

50% of seats are from Jee Main and the remaining 50% of seats are selected from Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test. The student has to qualify for one of the above tests to get entry into the course The application form is available on Himachal Pradesh Technical University website for a particular period of time. Reservation Based on - SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PWD.

Life at IIIT UNA

Placement Experience:

The campus placement of IIIT UNA is good. The highest package of 2023 in IIIT Una was 60 lpa(off campus) and 45 lpa (on campus) . The average pakage was 15 lpa , and around 90 % of the student got placed, during the placement drive. The average pakage of IT department was 16 lpa. A full semester is dedicated for internship and to earn work experience. Many companies like Google, Facebook, nvidia,Amazon etc appeared into placement drive.I am also targeting such FANG companies.
